Carrying a rifle during Youth Hunt
muledeerarea33? replied to Viper's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
I carry a rifle in the truck every day, why not in a buddy's hunt? There's always a hunt year around. If I'm glassing deer for someone and have a rifle, it doesn't mean in shooting what I glass. I just like carrying a gun. -
people who actually take their truck off road and dont want to be towed back I am literally sitting here on a dirt road waiting for a tow truck..... in a ford.I'll pray for you they all bust, break, crack, and go bang! It's how you maintain them that's makes them not do that as often as the rest. And the knowledge at parts you carry. I hate then all! Buy a Subaru or a X90!

What unit and where at exactly?

I'm not knocking the service at all, and more power to the folks providing the service to teach people. I just never knew it was needed.
-
Excuse my ignorance and lack if knowledge but do hunters need help getting their rifles set up? Is it a big demand? I would think most folks would know how to do that but I'm not really sure now?

Big meadow? Or just south?

A crease can't be popped out. A debt can. Crease has to be bent out and usually repainted.

never hunted without them. You a commie?

Getting closer... I think

If your in a high density area for coyotes or a high hunter density area the calls will change. Lots of dogs in an area.. Most calls will bring them in. Lots of hunters.. You need to use an obscure call, something not local. -
The rear leaf TSB is an adda leaf and better shocks. Lol do they have to break and bust the gas tank before you can get them? Tucson Toyota dealers are bad with sharing info dealer to dealer. I'm still working with the letter that says my springs break and break my tank then spark on the asphalt and kill everyone!! Or something like that lol. Waiting on the "fix" letter to come in, or a call back. What ever happens first.I love those letters! **Stop driving immediately and achedule your first come 1st served 3 month out appt and oh ya were not gonna compensate you for not being able to drive that truck we charged you WAY too much for.** drivin mine til it breaks! I look like a 19 yr old "bro" goin down the road with the rear end at stock height but I only got 3-4 weeks left til it level like a grown ups truck!

I've always bought O.E. Very rarely use aftermarket anything (I get good prices) but my 06 Tacoma with 160k has finally blown the factory bilsteins and needs some bushings. I don't want to go crazy but thinking a 1.5"-2" lift/leveling set up. Factory parts are less than a grand for struts, shocks, and control arm bushings but I figured I could get new front springs and struts with the rest aftermarket for around that price. Any experience with any? Thanks.

Came up to the valley with it today and it rides nice on the freeway and really nice on my dirt road home.

Just got the new factory lowers in the mail on Thursday. The whole front suspension is new and done now I'm just waiting on the rear. The uca's are really nice! I'm sure they'll squeak eventually there's dry lube you can use but I'll pry live with the noise when it starts. Alignment went good but there's no way to get caster to spec with those arms.

3 tons, used to be 2.5 tons til I added the bumper. Got tired of tearing up fenders when I hit them.

Anti-rain dance lessons or how to hunt in wet "desert" advice
muledeerarea33? replied to no worries's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
Easier to see tracks in the mud. They'll still hit reliable water sources even with lots of puddles every but if pressure is heavy they'll drink a mud puddle. Their home range shouldn't change much, if you found them before the rain then chances are they'll still be close. -

Shoot off sand bags, sled, stands, bi pod?
muledeerarea33? replied to Zeke-BE's topic in Long Range Shooting
For seeing what the gun is capable of I think your doing it right. For practice you should use your pack, tree branch, rock, etc. for sight I. I use the foam that Porsche windshields come in. Perfectly shaped for a shooting rest. And the cost is free. -
If your in Tucson contact 25-06 from here. He does that stuff for a living and is good at it.

Is that the one from the front of sportsmans?

Nice! Good to see a track record of previous attempts

Looks good, any estimate in longevity?

Can't wait to get time to put my 75 back on the road. I've always loved those trucks! Hope it sells quick to someone who'll appreciate it.
