Welcome to the dark side I've been your dark neighbor for years. I used to have non dark privileges.

I've read some awesome stories on here about different hunts, most recently kidso's Rez bear hunt and the guy that kayaked thru wilderness and shot a big buck. Some of these stories are book worthy! Is there a way to get the stories and pics in a book every few years? I'd buy a copy and if it was an E-book lots of people would. Just an idea.

if they lived abroad, in the regions that they are protesting for, they will realize how good America actually is!! I know all the news shows is crap. "A WHITE!!! cop shot an UNARMED BLACK MAN!!!!" Trump is bad, everyone wants to deport any non "European" citizen. The folks who oppose normalcy and want to continue or start arguments are the folks that are racist. Most of us just go to work everyday and enjoy our hobbies (work paid for said hobbies) no agenda, no racism, hatred. Some people can't let us do that.

Caliber doesn't make pistol a pistol. A pistol makes a pistol a pistol. Just because the caliber can go both ways doesn't make it a pistol. A hardass warden will decide that.

Time to open up the debate on Rifle Selection
muledeerarea33? replied to Lazy-H98's topic in Elk Hunting
So much for keeping it clean. Either rifle will do it, a 338 will do it, even a .22lr to the head WILL do it. But your good with what you got. Unless you just want a new rifle? In that case pick up a .30 cal mag. Shoulder only hurts if your weak. Trphyhntr's hooker knows that. -
What after market action?
muledeerarea33? replied to dse's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
If choose something in the 6mm class. Light enough for prairie dogs and heavy enough for deer.as far as aftermarket actions go I'm not sure? I've thought of going that route for the sexiness of it but it's really not needed since a factory action can perform or out perform the nice aftermarket ones. I'm sure any aftermarket action you choose with a built in rail will be good. -
Dad took my 410 away at age 12. No safety, hard to pull hammer, slipped off my thumb and peppered my uncle in his back from 100yards. Had his leather vest on but it was fun going home and telling my aunt I shot him! She woulda killed me if I didn't have back up lol. Still have it and a bolt action but no pump.

Also, how much land do you usually run them on before slaughter? Do they do better with a partner (momma, goat, sheep, another calf)? I ask since I'm guessing you've raised them before and know how to do it. I don't but have the land, I think.
