If you have good, solid 4G there you can hotspot your phone.[/quotes phones not 4g compatible so I'm not sure if I do or not? I think shedhunter has me hooked up, waiting on details but it sounds like a done deal for a good service! Thanks to him and everyone for the input.

Need some accubonds or ballistic tips for my 243
muledeerarea33? replied to Splatt's topic in Classified Ads
My wife shot her mule deer this year with a 100 grain Sierra pro hunter. The bullet hit the very back soft cartilage part of the shoulder blade and blew up. None of the bullet made it into the vitals. Fortunately some of the bullet fragments made it into the spinal cord and put the deer down. The shot was at 160 yards out of her 243. Just thought id share our only experience with the Sierras. We'll be trying the 95 grain ballistic tips next due to their supposed thicker jacket design. Why not go with a bonded bullet like Accubond, or monometal, TTSX or gmx? interesting to here. I've never had a reason to switch. They have killed plenty of coyotes and deer for me, I load the 175's in a friends 7mag and it's taken an elk and a deer so far. -
Any interest in a 243 wssm (pictures added) sold/////__

Sierra 100 gr spitzers is what I've stuck with out of mine. No issues what so ever and I can get them whenever I want. -
What do you use if you don't have cable or a land line? What satellite internet are you guys using? Or cell service USB card?

The vortex unidapter works nice.

I don't have internet or tv at my place. I use rabbit ears and get no local channels except the CW and 5 mexican channels. My phone is my internet. I would live to have a home internet service but our only option is satellite and the reviews are horrible for Dakota pro (the only option I know)

muledeerarea33? replied to singleshot's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
That deer looks old and tired! Congrats to the hunter! -
Agreed with all, only boycott if your ole lady knows how to sew, bake, cobble, mend, and thatch. If she can't then boycott no one, you work for a living and don't hand that amount of time.

Clean the arteries out, cut an oak board, soak the board in apple cider. Salt pepper garlic and wischesterschier sauce on the heart. Wrap it in bacon. Put the meat on the soaked board. Cook on the grill or mesquite fire for 20-30 min turning the heart atleast 3 times. When it's cooked, eat the oak board and feed the heart to the dogs!! Haha!!!

Quail season
muledeerarea33? replied to Tres's topic in Small Game, Upland Bird, and Waterfowl Hunting
It's a gamble and scaled breeding pair and there's atleast 2 pairs that I've seen. I haven't seen their offspring (scrambles) pair up and breed. -

Awesome, sounds like you've stumbled onto a good mearns spot! Scramble's?!?! I'll be standing by for an invite stumbled is right! Wasn't expecting or looking for them. The scrambles have been my backyard buddies for a few years now, I actually didn't know what the heck they were til I asked on here. Same couple of breeding pairs produces regularly every year although I think the offspring are sterile? -

I've ran into roughly 100 mearns out scouting fir deer. I'll be bringing my shotgun on my deer hunt. Jumped a bunch of scalies but wasn't hunting them. The gambels and scrambels are thick around the house this year. -
JLG I think is his screen name? Rents his place out up there, contact him

How big is your farm and how close are other people who may be shooting them? I've noticed I can drive a few miles from my place and call them like crazy but if I call them from the house they stay weary of my calls but they'll come in at night and try to kill my critters. I quit calling them from the house because they were outsmarting me and coming in hours later and feasting. Since I stopped calling I don't have coyote problems. Maybe your closest neighbors (even if 1/2 mile or more away) like mine are, are calling them too and the coyotes are getting smart.

I get between 50-60k out of bfg all terrains on two different trucks. 90 miles a day round trip to work with 8 or so being really bad dirt roads.

So it's a no to my offer?
