Bleach will work but will burn the noses of any animal that has been used to using it. If you plan another lick anywhere within a mile of that area they may be “gun shy” of a new lick. Sodium in his body will make a nice lick.

Recoil has never bothered me or made me flinch. I’m lucky, I can shoot big guns like a champ. Seeing out of the scope is my downfall haha!!

That would be my suggestion. My vision is exact opposite and makes binoculars and scope hard to see thru. I joined cwt.com around 13 years ago, we didn’t have these problems then haha!!

I’ve had this on a couple rifles. Barrel heat and factory barrels was my problem. Both guns got better with aftermarket barrels.
