Absolutely fantastic! Congratulations on finding the right buck and mega kudos to Cody for being so gracious with his spot and help. Way to go guys!

If the animal grew it, give it all the credit. Gross score rules!
-
Mitch, I'm happy to see everyone had a good time. That's some serious dedication on all parts. Congrats on the bucks!

& the updates keep rolling in! Never thought we would see a cw.com shirt here! Lunch during their snorkeling outing... I know Amanda was going to try the Seafood Papaya!

Ha Ha! YUP! I told here that their dogs were gonna be PISSED when she gets back! I bet they probably have already adopted some Hawaiian dogs down there!

Amanda has been enjoying her second week in Hawaii quite well. They've started to island hop a little bit and see some cool things. They went to a Kona coffee festival. She wanted me to check out the watermelon carving. My Thai chef friends are very good at carving fruit in that style which I think originates from Thailand. Coffee beans... Sulphur vents at volcano national park...... They were at a Luau last night, must be some hard livin'!
-
She didn't have a hand empty to start the hula hoop anyway, probably was double fisting some Mai Tai's!!
-
Got this one last night. She indulged in the Market Cafe Sundae. She said it was incredible!

Amanda's been living it up on the island! They've been snorkeling and hitting the beaches and volcanoes. Hitting all the good eats too! Here is some seafood chowder that Amanda said was phenomenal as well as your surf & turf plate... Toasted coconut creme brulee and pineapple tiramisu... Here is Amanda's breakfast one morning, fresh local fruit... They got to check out a local favorite called "Mammas Fish House" Fresh Mahi Mahi with smoked wild boar, baked plantains; sweet potato; passion fruit! I've never tried this but it's "Chili water"; made by cooking down Hawaiian chilis and garlic... Awesome sushi! (now I have to TOTALLY deal with a sushi snob when she comes back) Here is Paul goofin' around inside a huge Banyan tree! Showin' off the menu and drinks...(yeah, I get these texts of her just rubbing it in)

Way to go Garrett! Nice shooting and congrats on your buck.
-
Love the smiles! Congrats to you all on the success and kudos to Shane for helping you all out.
-
Thanks for clearing that up Josh. Talk about confusing though! Once I think I have things figured out I find out I'm just as lost. So basically, you gain mass measurements but lose tine length measurements? (you can't have both)
-
Good luck Mitch. Can't wait to hear the story on your adventure!
-
Happy Birthday Peg! (Big hug all the way from Florida!)
-
Way to go on making the best of limited time. Congratulations to both you and your Dad.

Congrats, you'll be blessed next year as your buck will grow to be bigger!

Nicely done, all the way around. From the scouting to the pics to the vid to the buck. Congrats again!

Great smiles and bucks! Congratulations! -
Congratulations. Is this the same gentleman that killed the John Wayne buck with Duwane a few years back?

Nice! Short and sweet! Congrats to you and your Dad on your success. Good shootin too. -
Way to go on the new addition!

Ernesto, I heard that you guys are banned from going into that unit again. Something bout devastating the deer population! Ha ha! Congratulations to you and your family. Having the first timers connect is always fun and good for hunting.

Welcome back Brent. Good thing you'll get to enjoy a nice winter this year.

Duwane Adams' camp started off a great season up in the Kaibab this year! Duwane says this is the best he's ever seen it in 33 years! This is great news to all the late tag holders that are dreaming of taking huge bucks this year. It was a rough start with a warm first five days but then the weather turned for the best. Once that happened, Duwanes' camp killed four bucks that first cold day after the snow. They started seeing big bucks every day and endured some missed shots, busted stalks, and got to see some huge bucks hit the dirt. All the while having a tremendous time. As you all know, I've been a part of these camps and boy, they know how to find 'em, and have fun doing it! Congrats to you all, guides and hunters alike. I can't wait to see what the lucky trophy hunt tag holders bring this year! Our very own Allen Taylor (coueshunter) drew this tag AGAIN so I'm excited to see what he brings back. I'm sure he'll tag a bruiser and help anyone else in Duwanes' group with a tag too.
