Congratulations to your daughter on her firsts! Believe it or not, I prefer to kill out on the last day! That means I get to enjoy the hunt in it's entirety looking for that perfect buck! I like that rifle too. Is that hers from here on out! Can't wait to see how the mount turns out too.

Steve, I used to have a '74 with 33" meats and a 302 V8. Had A/C and an auto tranny. Bought it in San Angelo TX and sold it later when I was in Guam, at a nice profit. I did pay a little more than $500 though. Lol I've contemplated buying another but stopped quickly after seeing how much they go for now.

Nice shooting! Congrats to the huntress on her first Coues. Good to kill that buck. It will make better eating and you may have saved him from a gruesome coyote attack. -
