*Monster Goat in the Dirt* 2014 Antelope Hunt
Chef replied to Flatlander's topic in Antelope Hunting
I was just wondering this weekend how your hunt was going. Sounds like a big buck down! Congratulations. Can't wait to see the pics! -
I never get tired of looking at that beast. What a trophy.

Although you have all been through a grueling month, it comforts me to know that you find many reasons to celebrate your parents lives. They are from a generation that will never be matched. This is a fitting tribute to your Father, your hero. I am sure he touched many lives. My thoughts are with you and your family Stan.

I was just informed by Amanda that Stan has unexpectedly lost his Mom. I can't even fathom the thought of how that feels. I'm so sorry to hear of this and pray for Stan and his family. Friend, if you need anything, please don't hesitate to call me.

Darn Tough Socks Gear Review
Chef replied to Jay Scott's topic in Jay Scott Outdoors/Colburn and Scott Outfitters
Great review. Your timing couldn't have been better! Looking at stocking up again and I'll give these a shot. We spend a lot of time getting deep into the back country and up and down canyons that a good pair of socks and boots are essential. Now to get one of my hunting partners to smell my socks. Lol! -
Ilene, I hope you have a full and complete recovery with zero complications. Take it easy and keep us posted!

This is great advice. A productive way to learn gutting, skinning, and bone anatomyy for proper breakdown of a carcass for transport. I was going to post the same thing!

Looks fantastic. Try sundries cranberries after a red wine reduction. Finish with a dalop of butter and fresh peppercorn. You'll be in heaven!

Great photos! I can't wait until I get to spend some time in the woods. Your captures are holding me over for now. Thanks!

Congratulations Mady! You have accomplished a feat that many dream of. I bet it's been a whirlwind of a ride since you first saw your bull until now. I know everyone is very proud of you. Way to go!

HAS THE TIME COME?? WOLVES BEING RELEASED IN PRESCOTT AREA??
Chef replied to a topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
You must be confused. Just by reading the list and knowing how much at the forefront many have been against wolf expansion shows that you are misinformed. I tell you candidly, these groups support an alternative plan to what the Feds want to shove down our throat. With every groups newsletter and magazine printing information against wolves in the state, I don't know how you just made the above comment. I am on the road, but can be reached via email. It's in my profile. -
Crazy story! Thanks for posting it and advising people on what can happen to you if you procrastinate! Happy to hear you made it through.

James, Your dog could not have asked for a better life than what you gave her. Anyone that has been blessed in this life has or has had the true love that only a great dog can give them. Your writing this is a real sentiment on how much she meant to you. I can only hope that you'll see her again. Be strong.
