Way to get it done guys.

Amazing. Congratulations on a successful trip. It looks like you shot on the perfect day and got snowed in for the butchering. My kind of trip.

I have a different perspective than you. This is a great way to get your son/daughter on a start to the Az Big 10 or the North American Sheep Grand slam. Opportunity and time are the largest hurdles as many can't draw tags or end up drawing too late in their lives. Taking a tag from a real hunter? Would it make you feel better if this went to an older hunter who kills a Class II ram? It happens more often than you think and based on your logic, they don't care if they shoot a trophy ram. (!) Entitlement. .

I'm really happy for you. What a great experience that is unfolding at this very moment. I wish you the very best of luck. Make some great memories and cherish every moment.

Thank You.

Just awesome man! Congratulations! Super sweet you have the trail cams pics of him!

Depends on the size of the trailer. If you get snow, yes, your best exit is through Fredonia. Set up your camp with an exit plan in mind, when that day comes, go slow. You are in a tough predicament. The late Kaibab hunts get started when the snow falls.

Nice.

Beautiful photos throughout the album Doug. Makes me feel like I am there. I'm certain a metal print will look stunning!

Nice eyeguards on your buck BTW.

Any flex on the stock? Particularly under bipod use making the forend of the stock make slight contact with the barrel?

Great to see! He certainly has the right attitude. We all get caught up in the numbers, trophy is in the eye of the beholder. Congrats on 4 for 4!

Happy for you all. What a year and what memories.

I've hiked down ravines and back up canyons on the Kaibab and just laugh at myself because I meet up with another road. Roads are all over up there, hence it making it attractive and productive to road hunt. I've seen some monster bucks killed this way. Just not my style.

Oh to be able to go back in time, be a teenager again with a little bit of money to buy all my dream rides. Best of luck with the sale! It looks clean.

I would have shot your tender cow over the others, all day. Congrats on your success. That first timers smile is what it's all about!

I'm impressed at the performance of the EcoTemp unit on our trailer. It's attached to the folding roof rack and is ready for use when the trailer is set up. Set inside a pelican style case, it's out of the elements during transport. *I do not like the shower head that came with ours as the sliding on/off button is difficult to operate.

That's an absolute STUD!!!! Beautiful buck! Congrats to you and your son Aaron!

I am a huge proponent of using sock liners. On big hunts, I would carry extras and give them to clients when they started hurting. They couldn't believe the difference either.
-
Nice! Congrats to the both of you. Long shot on a trophy buck!

Sounds like the title of a country song. 😁 "Three baseball bats & A padded toilet seat"
