    Wonderful Weekend

Life has a way to remind me I'm getting older by showing me kids all grown up. Congratulations to the young newlyweds. May they enjoy their lives in this world together.

    Mexico in December

Even on ranches with solid bucks, the rut can bring a lot of broken bucks almost overnight. Between seeing them broken on the hoof and capturing them broken on trail cams, the timing was the same. November & December hunts offer you the ability to pattern a little better on wide open country bucks all the while avoiding the broken scenario.

Why do they keep doing this?

**on top of what’s shown below, Uvalde's police/SWAT make up 40% of the entire municipal budget.

Why do they keep doing this?

Like George Carlin used to say..."Because there's no money in it!" ------ Another Carlin skit I like is... "It's a BIG club & you ain't in it!"

Why do they keep doing this?

All the "what if's" and macho mentality goes out the window for the majority of people. Like Mike Tyson said... “Everyone has a plan 'till they get punched in the mouth.”

    Kuiu Roll Call

I've been running these for two years now. I was in the 36's last Dec hunt and got nailed (as normal) by the stupid velcro seed pods again. I ended up way worse than this photo shows. I threw the pants away...no prob!

    Night Over Sedona

Just so everyone is aware, Doug loves to take photographs and has an amazing portfolio. I urge everyone to check out his site at Landscape photography of the American Southwest by Doug Koepsel (plateaulightphotography.com) You can order prints (The metal wall art is phenomenal) and you also just may find him at an art show near your neck of the woods!

    Trijicon Credo vs Nightforce SHV

For the price of the Credo, you may look at the Nightforce NXS C458. Second focal plane with parallax adjustment and zero stop turret. In 2.5-10x42 and a 30MM tube, it fits spec. Bulletproof reputation for being, well...bulletproof. I'm looking at this for a lightweight sheep build.
