Take your dog and shoot it
Chef replied to Diamondbackaz's topic in Miscellaneous Items related to Coues Deer
I can't believe you guys blame the breed and not the idiots that pen these animals and raise them to fight. It is these people (and the liberal media) that give pit bulls a bad name. If you want a loyal and loving companion, a pit bull is a beautiful animal. You should see what people do to these poor animals when they lose fights etc. Much worse than what happened in Tucson. Congratulations! Man that's a lot of trash in that one pic!

Congrats Amanda! I enjoyed the way you took us along for the ride. Great pics and nice buck! Chef

Most people that enjoy hunting/fishing and the outdoors are what I call "good people." I have met several people including some that I can call very good friends online from hunting forums. One thing that we need to keep in mind is that whatever you post, whether a story or pictures, you better have a thick skin for scrutiny. This is the internet with many people behind keyboards ranting and such. Some people will in fact degrade others for whatever reason. If you agree, then fine. If you don't, well, it's best to ignore them. Many times they want to get a rise out of everyone, which is generaly what happens. Thats when moderators come in. Although an overly moderated forum is a big turn off for most. You can't be naive and think that everyone is nice and funny and will love anything that has to do with everything you like to do. Like I said, the net has very many people, from many walks of life, with many experiences. Some are bound to be disagreeable. Carry On, Chef

Congratulations on a great buck. I saw the pictures up at Sportsmans Warehouse. Great buck. You might as well quit hunting Coues. Chef

careful there ought-six, That is exactly what they want, for us to beat the heck out of them and then portray us in a bad light. I was out Sandhill Crane hunting this past season in the Wilcox Playa area and ran into some of these wackos trying to scare the flocks. I spoke with the man in charge of the reserve there and he told me they set up with people and cameras nearby so they can get us on film if we do get nasty with them. These groups do have lawyers and money to back em up. Best thing to do is call the F&G on them and let them know if they are harrassing you. If they keep it up, I think it's a Federal offense to intervene in the lawful taking of game. Chef

Congrats on a successful hunt! Great pics.

That's a nice website you have Josh. One of the better outfitter sites I've seen. From the sounds, (rifle elk page gave me goosebumps) to the videos, I really enjoyed it. I've always wanted to tag a lion. Buy my tag every year. Slowly getting to the point that I'd pay to hunt with hounds. Now I know who I'll call when the time comes. BTW, that hound/lion fight pic is amazing! Chef

Congrats on a nice buck. In the pic are you showing off the Coues or the swaros? Chef -
Love the fossils Amanda. Thanks for taking us along. Although a lot of us don't post often here, we do check out the threads. Especially the ones with pictures. Chef
