Singleshot, I agree, that thuty-thuty sure gains a lot with this ammo. It will be nice to see some more deer taken with this classic round.

cochran, Last night was Family night for those with family that work there. Tonight is Construction night, for those that worked on the location. Wed is VIP cardholder night. Friday is the soft opening I believe.

Happy Birthday! Have a great one. -
I asked Amanda for a camo sticker a while back and she couldn't get one so I opted for a silver one. It looks good on my bumper. I just haven't had a chance to go somewhere "cool" and get a pic. Guess I'll have to break down and take a pic in the driveway or somethin'.

Yup, A TRUE redneck always leaves the front rack open for the ICECHEST!

You might want to ask Lisa (predator) over on MM. She had a 23 coues hunt this past season. (I think if I remember right) It will be a tough hunt and she had a guide too. Josh knows who she used. I was in 23 not too long ago and well, spent a lot of time in Young at "antlers"

Garth, By far, one of the best stories I've read here. Thanks for taking the time to post it. We all have a love for the outdoors and it had to have been handed down from somebody, usually our father. I put my Dad in with practically all my hunts. He hasn't had to pay for a tag or license in years. It's the least I could do for all the times he took us outdoors as kids. Hopefully I share many more memories with him up in the hills. Chef

I believe any pistol chambered to fire a .410 shell is going to be pretty big. May I ask why you are interested in this combo? Are you after the .45 LC or the .410 compatability? Why not a .45 ACP? Or a .44 mag if you want a D Harry? Just wondering if we could steer you in the right direction.

"cowing" praire dogs...
Chef replied to az4life's topic in Miscellaneous Items related to Coues Deer
That is very interesting. There is a coues video (I think) that has some bighorn hunting tactics and footage. Anywhoo, they archery hunt the rams and can get by without alarming the sheep by carrying a white "flag" as they crouch and walk along. Whatever works! heck, I step in cow patties to cover up scent, have a turkey diaphram call in my mouth while deer hunting, all to cover up who & what am! Guess I just need to wear a cowbell! -
Impressive.

Congrats to your Sis! Way to go. Nice looking bird too.
