You should try a peep sight rear and a firefront sight. It does real good set up that way. You could also add a scout scope set up. I have the following set up on my Marlin .444 and it works great for me. I also have it set up with the quick release weaver rings and it holds zero every time. http://www.gunblast.com/AO_Leupold.htm

DUUUUUUUUUUUDE!!!!! What a write up! I was wondering when you would finally show back up! We've been busy back here. Some bruisers have been taken during the archery hunts already and the Governor's tag holders certainly put the smack down on another great bull and a couple awesome mule deer bucks. I can't wait for the black continent man!

Vice President Choices
Chef replied to GodIsGood's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
I became a United States Citizen not too long ago. I registered to vote the very same day. Voting is a privilege I do not take for granted. With Supreme Court justices and our gun rights at stake, this is going to be a deciding election. I think McCain should pick Condie Rice. Just my opinion. -
No need to thank me! It's the very least I could do to help a little. I've done and paid too! I can't wait to show one off!

Awesome!!

+1 on the GPS / Radio combo. There are more features on mine than I know how to use. I hunt out of state and in new places all the time. That's where the GPS comes in handy. Especially marking waypoints and such. The great feature about the radio is that if your hunting partner has one, his location and distance from you is marked on the map when he talks to you. This comes in real handy especially when you down game and base camp is trying to locate you to come help. I would buy one again.
