Keith, That's great news! I was thinking about you the other day, as well as wondering how your brother was doing. Thanks for the update.

Sounds like they are having a great time. Thanks for the updates! Makes me wish I was there!!! -
I think a couple toms have a bigger impact on these sheep than this poacher did. Keep the unit open and hunt mountain lions too.

Debbie, Thank You very much for coming on here to fill us in on some details. I hope to see Sadie go through the process with no issues to speak of and have it be a complete success! Your dollar figure really puts things in perspective and definitely gives a goal to be reached if not exceeded. Your family and Sadie are in our prayers. -
Amanda, Can you compose a running list of names of those attending? Remember, AZbowhntr is in also. Hopefully we can fill up some tables. It looks like it's turning out to be another great banquet. Looks like the AZ Antelope Foundation is sharing the event as well. Remember, the CW.com tables are the lucky ones!

Very nice. Bet the dog did a back flip after getting hit by that freight train!

The link is not working. Try this: http://forums.coueswhitetail.com/forums/in...c=18820&hl= Beautiful smile. I will get in on the raffle for sure. It would be great to see how much we as an online community can generate for her.

I think about that every single day. Seeing loved ones go to the other side sometimes makes you reflect on things. Makes me the person I am today. I try to take nothing for granted, try to see the positive in everything, and don't waste time with things and people that bring me down. Life IS too short.

So........anyone know how big the ram was? Glad they caught the idiot. He should have taken a camera instead.

Brent, You may own certain handguns of small caliber you are correct. Using it for self defense and getting off scott free is a different story. The law can be translated as crazy as it is here on our indian reservations. Up to 30 years imprisonment, just for having one. (not registered of course) From your Wikipedia link: "Gun politics in Mexico have resulted in some of the strictest gun laws in the world. It is in many ways similar to the United Kingdom, except with much more severe prison terms for even the smallest gun law violations." Besides, I don't care if you have a revolver with a pocket full of shells, ain't no match for what the other guy trying to harm you is carrying. It's a sad situation in Mexico right now. With the glamorization of being tied to the cartels, a lot of copy cats are running around. The nephew and son of a prominent cartel member, unbelievable. It's so sad that a good man went down like this.

That's really good to hear. I have heard the opposite when it comes to warranty and Leica. I own the same glass as you and hope any dealings with them are as pleasant as yours. Good deal with the Outdoorsman's keeping the paperwork too. They are a great bunch over there. They really know thier stuff. My next purchase will be their tall tri-pod, and maybe their new backpack..and...I can keep going!

I think Mexican citizens should be able to legally carry in their own country. Thugs have nothing to fear when they know they are preying on those that can't protect themselves.

I have never been to a hockey game in my life. I actually don't know much about it really. I know the NY Rangers won the cup in the 93-94 season, only because I was attending college in NY and boy they made a BIG deal about it! It would be awesome to check out Killer on the ice!

I have purchased many items and thousands of dollars worth from CameraLandNY. One of, if not THE best online transaction company I have dealt with. I am happy they sponsor this site and contribute by answering all the questions on optics. Congrats on the win!

Very sad news indeed. It's a tough world down there right now. I know of several outfitters that have been robbed of their belongings and a few close friends that have been harassed into giving money (several thousand) in order to save some stuff. Anyone heading down that way, be careful. Condolences to the man's family.
