    Coues full velvet mount

I wanted to post a follow up stating that OP fixed my porch leaks. He found some additional issues above what I had mentioned that needed addressing. Responsive, fair, and honest fellow. Good to meet you Bill. Thank you for your assistance and I will pass on the word of your services.

    Baofeng radios

If you are out in the desert and guys on your crew already have these types of CLICK HERE for Rugged radios then you are that far ahead with the Baofeng. You can program them to match the blue radios that the desert race guys use.

    Which rangefinder

Subscribed to this thread. I too have been looking to buy a new rangefinder. I currently run a Leica 1600 and it's been slower and slower every season. I want something with auto angle adjustment, and I too have been leaning towards the Kilo5K. Hunting buddy of ours has it and it has a cool feature where it connects to your phone, and you can mark waypoints with the laser. So if you down an animal, you can hit the location, save to the map, and go right to it. I saw the Kilo5K on sale last year priced in the $400's. I am waiting for this to happen again and I'm buying unless someone posts other advice.

    Which moderator....

We got hit with +/-2700 individual spam posts from over 90 different accounts overnight. Thanks to those of you that alerted us to the issue. I also got a late-night text from Ernesto C but didn't see it until 5AM. As Stan mentioned, a stricter new member verification process has been put in place that should help.

Looks like he lived a fulfilling and adventurous life! That non-typical Eastern whitetail is sweet.

    Camping etiquette ( what's wrong with people ? )

I was on a hunt in Colorado one year and had the same thing happen to us. Tons of open area to camp but ol' six shooter wanted to camp right next to us. After they set up camp, I started lightly playing some nice Mexican Corridos. Didn't take long for them to pack up and leave.

    What's for dinner tonight?

If you are cooking at such high temps that this will cook in 12-14 hours, it will definitely shrink substantially. This looks like an easy 18-20 hours cook complete on a pellet smoker at low temp to me. Even after wrapping at the stall. The point is thick too, you may end up drying out the flat on this. Let us know how it turns out for sure!

    What's for dinner tonight?

Coarse ground. Yes, I agree with your take on things cooked over fire. Things are just that much better. Between the char, the smoke, everything.

    What's for dinner tonight?

Yes, that was in the works but as we all know...other things come up. Besides, we would have to make a video series anymore as people don't do the cookbook thing as much as they used to.

    What's for dinner tonight?

We went Middle Eastern this Friday evening. I wish this was in memory of my Turkish ibex but I've yet to realize that off my list of things to do. Made some Lebanese style lamb Kofta kebobs and grilled them over pecan. Accompanied by Middle Eastern flatbread and our own tzatziki , was very nice.
