Totaly dude! Look at that velvet! Everyones gona know you shot that toad in June! Just couldn't resest could you! Jake drops that buck and says "Well, there is a pile of jalapeno and chese sausage lying on that hill over there, we better go get it so you can take it to Casey's" Yumm! Lance

Day five.... Ty age 11 (my son) misses a buck (Don't worry about him, he's OK, he has taken a Coues buck and two elk so he cant complain) Day six.... Jake has pased on many bucks and helped everyone else kill theirs! You the man Jake "Tines" (the Coues deer guru)! Jake glasses a buck in the PM on the last day of the hunt. And what does he do ? He lets Ty get the first chance at it. Well Ty missed and when it looked like the last buck of the season was gona get away Jake went ahead and took him. Thanks for another great Family/Friends hunt Jake "Tines"! And for letting everyone shoot your big bucks! Lance

Day three, Sunday, No one hunts and we go to church Day four... Carie takes her first Coues buck while hunting with our boys and I and Jake in the AM! A toad of a 5"X5" Congrats Carrie! In the PM, Mark takes a toad 3X4 98" buck while hunting with Jake, with Lance, TY and Chuck helping on the radios.

Day two... Curtis misses a buck and then takes a beutifull 3pt in the AM! This was His first deer while hunting with Jake and half the camp! PM Carrie misses a buck

YES Velvet EVERYWHERE! Sticken, Hanging, Dangleing, Fuzing and bone white anteler poking out everywhere! This is one of the big bucks we took on the Oct hunt, he's got alot of velvet still on. Lance

I'm sorry for your misshap. I'm sure it was likely the exception and not the rule at that place. They do have quite the enticing brochure don't they. I have never used Rondas so I realy cant say. However I will say that I always use Casey's! I take ALL my clients to Casey's when I can and I have never had a problem. I am not afraid to send anyone there so next time tell Casey that Lance sent you! Lance PS, lets see a picture of that U 7 buck!

Due to the hunting situation I did not get field photoes. That is VERY unlike me! But My family and I did get off of the mountain that night before 9pm and the only one that was realy dead was my buck. The rest of us were just "mostly dead"! But here are some photoes I got off the video camera through the spotting scope just before the shelling commenced! I rough scored him at camp at 103" gross. That includes a 1 3/4" cheater by his eyeguard! The guys at the "CWT get together in the 36's" got to see him in person. I'll try to get some pictures of me holding it on here latter but thought these would be cooler anyway! Lance

No problem. If you are on a road you got to expect to be driven up on. Just like I did to you that morning I guess. We found a spike and a three point together that night and my wife got three shots but didn't conect. Lance

We took a trip to the taxidermist and took some pictures of our bucks while there. Here is my buck from all angles.

My wife spotted my buck for me so I returned the favor and spoted this awtsome 5x5 for her (5"x5") to return the favor! This was her first Coues buck. Good trade huh! She made a perfect 340 yard shot on Monday morning just before she had to go home. All in all between a couple of units on this Oct hunt we took 7 out of 9 tags. 3 of them over 90"! My 11 year old boy Ty didn't get one this year, he did shoot 5 times at two different deer and hunted hard all week. What a trooper! We spotted a MOUNTAIN LION twice during the hunt and we never did get a shot at him But our cousin did hit a BEAR on the Sasabe Hwy! We saw Lions, Coti's, illegals and bears OH MY! And Coues bucks every day! Maybe TINES will post some of the other pictures. ? Lance

He was with another great buck that was a little smaller. I did not get his picture. But they were right where I had missed a shot at a great pair of bucks last year. It would be cool if it was the same one!

Had a good time! It was good to meet some new faces! We had a good visit. Glad we could make it and thanks for putting it on! We went on to fill 7 out of 9 tags thanks to the strenth we gained from that awesome chili!!!! Lance

Just got back from the Oct hunt down South. It is HOT and DRY and then it was HOT and DRY but by the end of the hunt it was HOT and DRY! Did I mention the weather was a little warm and dusty? Lance
