I try and kill as many animals as i can with the same arrow. every kill i get with that arrow i write it on the fletches with a sharpie. i once killed 5 animals with the same arrow. 3 deer in virginia and elk in az and a bear in az. the bear was up in a tree and when i shot it the arrow blew through and i couldnt find it. another arrow had 3 kills to its credit before blowing through a buck in virginia never to be found.

What year did the AZGFD start the bonus point system?

Was that for all animals or did they come out in groups? ie.... antelope, elk and bighorn. then a couple years later deer, pig and buffalo?

Hey guys my girlfriend and I drew unit 27 turkey tags, and I dont have to much knowledge of this unit. I havent been able to get up there at all due to work, school, and buying a very time consuming house. Im looking for any suggestion on some possible camping sites. Thanks in advance......Cody

Man all this 666 talk is starting to make me re-think even going!!!! hahaha ya right. We will be camping in a tent and i have a 4x4 truck, so rough roads are ok. Not only is this my first time hunting this unit, its also my first time hunting turkey so the " where are the turkeys" question is the next one i will have to figure out. I drew a unit 27 turkey tag and I know absolutly nothing about turkey kunting.....LOL Soooo I need to buy a Turkey gun. Anyone have any suggestions on a decent gun....not looking to spend a lot seein' as how i wont get to much use out of it, or does anyone have a shotgun that they are wanting to sell? Id rather give the $$ to someone on here than one of the big chain stores. Cody

for the first couple of days im going to try my bow, but my girlfriend also has a tag so she needs something too. Then if i cant get an arrow through one i will try out the gun. Hopefully bowhunter4lifes, sent you a pm about your gun.

Bass Pro has a stoeger ( was told they are made by benelli) 12 ga pump in camo that shoots 3" and comes with a turkey choke and a 24" barrel for $299. Would that be a decent turkey gun?

hey good, ya its the hunt that goes for a week in april, then a week in may. I have never hunted turkeys before, so any tips or info would be appreciated. My girlfriend also has the same tag.

I am interested in buying possibly up to 4 land owner antelope tags for the 2009 season. I dont really know anything about this type of tag having never used one before, but after 16 years of not drawing a tag in AZ i cant take it anymore!!! If you have tags for sale or know anyone that has tags for sale i would be interested. Go with the Diamond Razor Edge. Just bougt one for my girlfriend and she loves it. She has a very short draw...22", and cant pull back 40 lbs yet, but shes getting there. The great thing about that bow it the range of adjustmets, it goes from a 19" draw to a 29" draw and 19 lbs to 50 lbs. Very fast and very quiet. The bow goes for around $349.

My girlfriends dad is selling his S&W .40 cal semi auto pistol. It is the M/P model. He bought it about a year ago for home protection, and hasn't taken it out of it's case since. I have 4 All Terrain Tires 265-70-17 that came off of my 2001 ford f-150. All 4 are matching and rotated every 6k miles. I would say that these tires have about 15-20 thousand miles left on them. I know this has been talked about b4 but im hoping maybe someone out there either has one or knows a little bit about them. I recently put one on my Remington .270. I went to the range last wknd to sight it in, I was using 130 grain winchester ballistic silver tip bullets. I got it shooting dead on at 100yds just like it says to do, then moved to 200yds where the first circle is supposed to come into play. Well when i used the first circle i shot a group about 4 inches high @ 200 yds, hitting right where my main crosshair was. So @ this point my rifle is dead on @ 100 and 200 with the crosshair. I tried the second circle " the 300 yd circle" @ 300yds with the same results....4 inches high. Any suggestions?? Am i using to light/fast of a bullet? I bought some 150's to shoot this wknd, maybe that will make the circles more accurate? Also does anyone know anywhere close to the valley where you can shoot farther than 300 yds?

I drew this tag this year and I was just wanting to get some opinions on how everyone thinks this hunt will go, being as this is a "NEW" tag?? Will it be a better hunt due to the cooler weather, or will it be a worse hunt due to the 2 previous hunts.....just looking for some input. Thanks
