Iā€™m 39, one point behind MAX for antelope. Am I one of the ā€œold dudesā€? Iā€™ve put in my time...let this years crop of 10 year olds put in their time.

Who would bitch about drawing 3 antelope tags in a row? I promise Iā€™ll stop bitching after I draw just ONE.

ā€œAlready tough enough.....ā€ the guy with 20 BP for antelope and the guy with 2 BP basically have the same chance of drawing if they apply for the same hunt. I know itā€™s an unpopular opinion among a lot of hunters, but the guy with 20 point should have a more weighted advantage in drawing that tag...just my opinion.

Iā€™ll see your stir with my own stir...5 archery bulls killed by the age of 31. That also includes one early rifle bull tag not filled. Guess I used up all my luck on elk.

Happens all the time when you have BS bogus points, points should be squared like Nevada.

this is on FB supposedly from a higher up at G$F.... So here's the scoop: yes, AZGFD has an automated system where they don't HAVE to manually check applications, but they still do. They verify every application to make sure every hunter gets their bonus points, and all bonus points are consolidated in one place. If you want to point a finger of blame, point it at those who don't have an AZGFD portal account and apply as a new applicant every year, or those who refuse to use their social security number as their Dept. I D. Those folks have multiple sportsman's I.D. numbers that must be manually consolidated to make sure everyone gets all the credit and use of their bonus points. By law, this HAS TO HAPPEN. So with 18,000 extra applications, yes...it's gonna take time. Until this is done, the draw hasn't happened. Mix in the new portal sign in and server issues and it's causing a delay. We've been fortunate that last SEVERAL draws that all the planets aligned and charges hit the day after the credit card update deadline. So unfortunately, I wasn't given a timeframe for completion...however...If your credit/debit card experiences fraud and is shut down in the waiting period here, I'd get on the phone and call AZGFD to get help.

Was looking for a Toyota Sequoia, but......Iā€™m a truck guy! looking for a 2011-2014 5.0 V8 or a 3.5 Ecoboost. Trying to stay away from the 5.4 V8. Any mechanics in here favor one motor over the other? Anyone that has owned one or both have an opinion? Let me know, thanks!

Iā€™ve looked at 6 or so and a ā€˜13 with 130k is around 16,900-18k.....putting the out the door around 20k after tax and all that BS.

How many miles did you rack up on that truck?

I think a 13 with about 135k is whatā€™s in my price range (paying cash). They run about 20k out the door at a dealer. Would you be afraid of those miles on that motor?

11-15 is gen 1. The 5.0 seems easier to work on and 2 less turbos to worry about, was my thinking.
  16. Anyone looking to sell one? Anyone have any reason I shouldnā€™t be looking to buy one? Iā€™m a truck guy, this will be my first SUV.

WTB 2008 or newer Toyota Sequoia 4x4

Did you end up buying the 4Runner from a dealer or a private party? I picked 08 and newer to get the bigger 5.7L motor.

Few questions about a fluid leak. I know NOTHING about working on vehicles so forgive me if I use the wrong terminology. I have a pretty substantial fluid leak on my 2000 Yamaha Big Bear quad. I canā€™t find where itā€™s coming from. Itā€™s most noticeable after driving it because the quad smokes from the fluid hitting the hot exhaust. In the red circles are bushings that I think the fluid is coming from, hitting the exhaust directly behind them. And dripping down onto the skid plate below. If thatā€™s the case, what type of fluid would that be? If thatā€™s even where itā€™s coming from. Also....the yellow circled items....gas constantly drips from that line. So much so that I keep it plugged with a bolt. If left unplugged it will just constantly drop. What is it and how do I stop it.

When you say the engines arenā€™t worth rebuilding or replacing the seal, is that due to cost?

I turned the gas off 2 weeks ago and let it idle till it died, went back to our cabin this past weekend and it was still leaking gas, thatā€™s why I put the bolt in, to stop the leak.

Looks and feels like engine oil, same texture too. Didnā€™t taste it.

With the little bit that I do know, I didnā€™t think there should be any fluids in those.
