We have only seen 3 this year while quail hunting!, AND I SUGGEST U KILL ANYONE U HAVE TO CHANCE TO!!!! If we all killed one, there would still be to many! I got bit by one THAT DID NOT rattle(It is a myth that rattle snakes ALWAYS rattle when they are in danger or are warning, matter of fact alot of times they wont move or make a sound!), two years ago, while bird hunting, and it would have probably struck me again before i had the chance to move, but my setter jumped on it! (And yes we had a very unfortunate loss of a GREAT Bird dog, because of a dumb snake!) I was luckily ok, we had about an hours drive(doing about 90) to the Payson Hospital!

Yea talk about a toad! That is such a gorgeous buck! And will make a trophy of a life time! I hope i can connect on one half that size this year in Dec. Im starting to Get PUMPED!!!!

Well we were in a higher elevevation, and there were NOT very many deer! None of the Southern Utah deer had started to migrate and none of the Kaibab deer either! We saw a decent number of deer(the local herds) and knew this buck was in the area! We had scouted 6 or 7 times before the hunt and saw several trophy bucks of this class and better, but they turned out to be passing through! We did no still hunting, because the deer were way way to hard to pattern! It was all about the glassing! trophyhntr did u guys have a 12aW,12E,Or 12bW,or 12b tag???

ha i know what yea mean! But i try and switch off every once in a while....and i am always game for any kind of hunting with anyone!!!

Young Hunter!, Start putting in for the Kaibab and that can be YOU! Ill point you in the right direction or you could even hunt out of our camp!

Here is a pic of my brothers Big Muley Buck, saw one buck that appeared to be a bit larger then him with width and height, but did not have the mass. It is an exceptional buck for the early rifle hunt up there, being none of the deer have started to migrate yet!!!! We saw TONS of small small bucks and does, lots of deer were harvested all small bucks, hunted very hard to get this bad boy(hiking our butt off!) AND WE SAW NO ELK OR BUFFALO OR ANY SIGN AT ALL!!! Ill have to send the pic to Amanda(or to someone else???if u can help??) I cant get it to go on for some reason. Soory.

Yea, that is unreal! THOSE MONEY HUNGRY THIEFS OF A GAME AND FISH are actually trying to convince hunters not to buy those tags. Just like Josh said there ARENT ANY DEER and there still pumping out the tags(CAUSE the truth is all they really care about is the $$$$$) I hate them for what they are doing to the elk herds in certain units and the deer for sure----pretty much state wide! The Kaibab deer numbers are at an all time low!!! and they still give so many dang tags away and, still keep wiping out the does with that dang junior hunt! The Arizona Game and Fish have truly stopped managing our wildlife, and are only taking our money! Something has to be done about them and the number of permits they give cause, they are doing the same exact thing in Units 3a 3c with the number of elk tags(COW). And our hunting in the state is going straight down the DRAIN!>

This buck will most definetley be somewhere in the mid 90s! when was the pic taken? he may still have had some growing to do? AND WHEN SCORING A COUES WT. FOR B:C you only use ONE Of the spread scores and i believe it is the one from tip to tip! Youll'e have to check BC website to know for sure!

Hey Fellows, a couple weeks ago i posted a topic called my Tags, just telling everyone about how lucky i was! I Went on my 1st ever and last ever Az Buffalo hunt and was Succesfull!!! I posted a pic of the bull that i bagged On the House Rock Wildlife Hunt on Friday! IF YOU EVER NEED SOME HELP WITH A HUNT UP THERE!!! THEN LET ME KNOW<WE KNOW WHERE THERE AT!!!

Yes i did get a call from the Dept. And on the House Rock they DO not point to the buffalo and tell you which one to shoot, that is on the Raymond Ranch(FENCED). i have been privaleged enough to have been on 2 bull elk mangament hunts in the last 3 years in unit 1, and killed 350 class bulls near Eager. Ill i can say is on thing for sure, that it does help when youve got the Game Dept. ON YOUR side!!!

I shot the Bull with a 7Mag at about 100 yards with Federal 175 Grain Bullet!!! And i dropped him on the spot! We did not have to much time to scout,because of the short notice,however we know the area rather well. There was only one other bull with this bull that i shot, and he was a bit smaller. However We did see and track a herd of buffalo that had probably close to 60 or 70 head. As of yesterday None of the other hunters had harvested there Bull, But i will be in contact with the Biologist who lives up there on monday, to see how they did!

I CAN NOT BELIEVE MY LUCK THIS YEAR WITH THE AMAZING DRAW!!!! I HAD POSTED MY RESULTS ON ANOTHER TOPIC< BUT I COULD NOT RESIST TO PUT THE NEW ONE UP!!! I RECIEVED A PHONE CALL FROM azgfd on Friday Morn. wanting to know if i would like to go a Bull Buffalo Managment hunt on the house rock wildlife area........AND I GLADLY ACCEPTED>> I WILL BE ALLOWED ANY BULL BUFFALO!!!! and there are only 4 other hunters! So ontop of my Southern Utah Paunsagaunt Limited Entry Buck Deer tag, and Utah Southern region archery bull elk, and my CO. Southern Mule deer rifle, and MOST IMPORTANT AZ 4b archery Bull,3b antelope, and 24b DEC. WT!!!! I GOT PRETTY FREAKIN LUCKY, AND THE MOST AMAZING THING OF ALL IS THAT I AM NOT EVEN 20 YEARS OLD YET!!! I JUST HOPE MY LUCK KEEPS ROLLING!

The bull was killed in Northern AZ. That is all the info i can give out on that!!!

Personally i think he should recieve the punishment he recieved! The doing away with your hunting rights for life for poaching like billrquimby mentioned is a very good idea, IF THEY WILL DRAW THE LINE> BC i know a guy that got caught in 2002 shooting a 400 class bull elk in Az during archery season with a colorado tag and he only was revoc. till 2009!!!! WHICH IS A BUNCH OF BS****** Now back to the Payson man, WE SHOULD be able to kill as many Mt. Lions for free of charge!!! FOR COMPENSATION FOR THE NUMBER OF DEER THEY KILL! A Mature lion in a good deer area will generally kill atleast one deer on a weekly basis!
