We got our dog from them too. She has been a great addition to our family. Standard Poodles are great family dogs.

Unit 22 is such a big unit. It’s very easy to get away from people. In my scouting trips and on my hunt I saw only 1 person. I tend to seek out areas where I know there are deer and where I believe there won’t be much pressure.

I remember that year. I was 15 years old. We were in 36B and it snowed on us as we were heading home that Saturday night.

I know of two people at my job that are currently doing this in the exact area you just mentioned. One of them showed me the numbers for his airbnb house over the last year and in off peak months he grossed around $6k and in peak months he was grossing around $12k.

I might have to move in the next few years for work, even though I don’t necessarily want to move. My wife and I have already had the discussion that we aren’t selling our current house no matter what. We plan to make it a rental and have someone else pay it off for us. I would love a boost in retirement income if we can make it happen. I know rentals aren’t for everyone, but this is what we plan to do.

I have an Outdoorsman Palisade pack that I use for all of my hunting trips, but it’s much more pack than I need for single day scouting trips. I am curious to hear your opinions on the best options for a daypack. A pack like the Kuiu Divide 1500 looks about like what I had in mind. Anyone have any good or bad experiences with this pack to share? I’m open to all suggestions.

I know this thread is a year old, but I am curious to know how this trip went and if you would be willing to give a bit of a follow up report. I appreciate the heads up. My gun doesn’t like the 147’s at all, but I am getting 1/2” groups with the Noslers. I have 4 boxes of the 147’s and 15 rounds of the Noslers. Not urgent, but figured someone might be looking to swap.
