I’m 99.99% sure it wasn’t AZGFD calling me, but I’m an overthinker, so my mind messes with me like that.

I got a phone call around 3:30 today that didn’t say who it was and I didn’t even know until the last ring. I didn’t answer in time. All my mind could think about was I missed my tag 😭

I used my phone yesterday and figured out the scrolling part for the year of birth. No issues for me after that. I was able to pay no problem. It’s mind boggling though, that with such a cash cow as this special draw, that the department always seem to have problems with the tech side of things.

Now that deer results are out, I’m sure someone is looking for a new rifle. I have a Savage 110 Switchback 6.5 PRC that I am looking to sell. It has less than 15 rounds down the barrel and is in perfect shape. I’m only selling because I want to go with a Tikka and shave a few pounds off. This Savage weighs just over 8lbs. I got just over a 1/2” group with Nosler 140 grain ballistic tips. I live in Florence but work in Mesa Monday thru Thursday. I am firm on price at $500. Not to mention he claims his General is the best riding machine out there, then makes the same claim about this Yamaha. Apparently he has the two best riding side by sides out there and he’s selling them both.

While fighting the wind last Saturday looking for deer I turned my attention to the cliffs and found 8 desert bighorn sheep, 4 of them being rams. I’m not a sheep expert, but one of them seemed to be a real tank! I was able to watch them for about 2 hours. They are such amazing animals. Totally made my day. Video was taken with my phoneskope through my Zeiss Conquest 10x42 at 1040 yards. Video is a little shaky due to the wind. Hopefully the quality isn’t diminished during the upload. Honestly the fact that my archery skills are very average is the main thing I’ve worried about that has kept me from looking into these events more. Very cool to hear that a lot of people are helpful. I need to start going too.

Almost all of this has been going on for many years, not just recently. This isn’t anything new.

Straight up scammer. If the fact that he doesn’t even know how to price what he has isn’t enough, there are a lot of oddities in how he chooses his wording, which is typical of scammers. I’d stay far away from this, even at $1,100.

My sister in law does house cleaning. She does a great job and is in high demand because of it. I don’t even know if she is taking any new houses. I’ll check with her and get back to you if she is. She stays specifically in the southeast valley like San Tan/Florence/QC.
