I went in and got a sweet deal on a very nice Vortex tripod. Thanks Will!!! There is still time for you other guys to get in there and get what you need before your hunts. You really have nothing to lose and you'd be surprised at the prices they can give you. Hurry before the sale ends.

My best friend started a landscaping business back when we were in high school here in Mesa and that is still his full time job over 10 years later. He does pretty well. I would take Treestandman and DesertBull up on their offers.

Here you go: http://www.coueswhitetail.com/bookstore/hunting_videos.htm I have the Extreme Coues videos and it's really good.

Looks pretty cool. However, I definitely could have done without pic #14

I think it's hilarious that even though he is gagging and about to lose his lunch he is still laughing hysterically. What a good sport

Mike, did you get the voicemail I left you about a month ago?? I'm not sure if it was what you were looking for since I didn't know too much about it myself, but figured it couldn't hurt to look into it. I really wish I had the money for the switchback but I'm in the same boat as you right now. I had planned on getting back into archery hunting this year but it looks like it's going to have to wait until next year.

I saw the blue Colorado at QT on Main/Val Vista last weekend. I did not notice the sticker until I was behind you at the light at Broadway. I tried to get beside you to wave but you turned before I could.

It just doesn't get any better than that!!! 1st coues with a bow?!?!?! That's amazing. You two have been knocking 'em dead big time in the last year or so. I really enjoyed reading the story and seeing the pictures. Thanks for sharing your success story with us.

What's Up With The Signs
daryl_s replied to wardsoutfitters's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
I don't know too much about the situation and how it all works, but I do know G&F puts a lot into working with land owners in certain areas so that hunters can have access. A lot of 36C would be unhuntable if this were not the case. The best we can do in these situations is follow the rules and be good representatives of the hunting community so that land owners will continue to allow us onto and across their property. Unfortunately it only takes 1 person breaking the rules to make us look bad. -

No need to apologize that it isn't a "monster." I would be thrilled to take any coues buck with a bow and am very much looking forward to the day it happens. Conratulations to ya. The picture with your son is great. I love how he seems so interested and is even holding onto the antler.

How do you pass the time in the blind?
daryl_s replied to capt88's topic in Bowhunting for Coues Deer
Just don't forget to turn the sound off -
I still have my Ping G5 golf clubs up for sale. Golf season is right around the corner. I have over $1500 invested in them. I will let them go for $600. Do what I should have done and buy a good used set instead of dropping so much cash on new clubs. They are great clubs. Includes driver, 3 wood, 3-pw, G5 putter and stand bag. If you want anymore specifics pm me. Daryl 480-458-7263

My dad emailed me pictures from his latest fishing trip. Three flatheads totaling 94 pounds. They were 38, 37 and 19 pounds. The ruler in between the two big fish is 18 inches long. Funny how the 19 pounder looks tiny. He kept one of the bigguns and the small one. Good eatin.

How does a person keep their composure when a buck like that shows up??? That buck is soooo cool looking. Two words come to mind.....BEAST and unique. Very cool video. Congrats to ya.

I like the story but you're killing me. I won't be able to get back on for a while. There better be some pics when I get back

Mullin's Got it done in a big way!
daryl_s replied to matthewp45's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
It's too bad that every time a world class animal is harvested that some people just can't help but sling mud A huge congrats to the hunter and the Mullins Team. -
Clay, Curtis the rig welder told me to say "hi" to you. He lives across the street from me and we BS about hunting all the time. Anyways, he brought up something about "a guy he knows who is the manager at US Airweld in Miami" or something to that effect and I figured it was you. I told him about your buck and showed him the pictures you posted. He told me to tell you congrats. He had only good things to say about you.

That looks like an amazing trip!!! I really need to go to Alaska. I also have to give the Toro shout out, class of '99.

Gino, they have come out all right for us as long as they are cut up fresh and cooked right away. Delicious. He normally keeps the 10-15 lb fish for eatin though. Amanda, he was there by himself and forgot the net. He said it was quite the adventure getting them in the boat. Here is a cell phone pic I took Saturday. This is as close as I could get my little girl to stand, and only after I convinced her it was dead . She only weighs 3 more lbs than this fish.

Very cool!!!! Way to fill that archery tag.
