Okay, so I know I am very much in the minority here but I will be watching the Argentina vs. Germany soccer game Saturday morning . I will be at my sister in laws house in Lakeside and don't really want to watch the game there. Does anybody know of any place in the Lakeside area that will be open early Saturday for the game???? Okay, now you can start laughing BTW, go Argentina!!!!!!

The game starts at 6:30 am so that's why I was asking. I don't think there are enough Argentina fans up here to merit any place opening up that early, I was just hoping I was wrong and that someone would know. USA is my team but I like Argentina too because I lived there for a few years and have many friends there. Needless to say I will be up bright and early ready to watch the "albiceleste" send Germany home

I'm as serious as can be Dennis!!! Maybe if the US was still in it and playing then there would be a place to watch it. Looks like I'm going to have to watch the game at my sister in laws house. Either way it will be nice to get out of the valley heat. I'm out of here in about a half hour.

Even though some binoculars are optically better than others they still may not be the best for you. I cannot glass comfortably with 15x56 Swaros, they just don't fit me. The Kaibabs and Leicas are much more comfortable to me. This may not be the case for you. Take up Trent on his offer and try them all out.

I just got done washing both of my cars so it is definitely going to rain within the next 24 hours.

Scottyboy, please keep posting these, I find them very informative. My wife grew up in Mexico and still has a lot of family in Sonora and some in Chihuahua. I always looked forward to her and my kids getting to spend the summers there with their grandparents and other cousins. I absolutely will not send my kids down there now. Even the family we have there says not to come because of the situation. Most people here have no idea of what is really going on down there.

I am moving this next weekend and our dog can't go. She is a mutt but we know she is part Beagle and part welsh corgi terrier, the rest is your best guess . She is the nicest dog in the world and has never shown any aggression at all. She has always been around kids and does great with them. She is around 12 years old but still has lots of energy. So bummed that I can't make it this year. We had a great time up there last year. For those of you that are thinking about going, you won't be disappointed if you do go. It's a lot of fun for kids and adults.

I have a paranoia about not having enough water. I normally take about twice what I need. It gets heavy really quickly but I'm young enough I can still get away with it . For food I love the Bumblebee tuna kits. They seem to give me a good boost. I also like the Sweet and Salty granola bars, cookies, a piece of fruit(apple or orange) and 1 or 2 sandwiches.

I have never been to any kind of shoot but I want to start. I have heard that they are a lot of fun. I just started archery hunting in December so I wouldn't be in it expecting to win anything, I just want to have a good time. How do you get involved with these?? Can I just sign up and shoot??
