YES!!!! My dad and I put in together this year and drew 36c late hunt. It looks like the weather should be perfect for the opening weekend. Good luck to you on your hunt.

My friend Don struck out on the draw this year so I suggested he get a leftover tag for 36b. We scouted the weekend before the hunt and saw a lot of deer, mostly does and fawns. Opening morning had us out in position ready for glassing light. After not seeing anything for the first 30 minutes or so I was starting to get a little worried, I knew we should have been seeing deer already. A few minutes later we had a buck spotted feeding around some ocotillo. I set up to spot and Don set up for the shot. He would look like he was going to step into a clearing and then he'd stay just enough in the ocotillo to not offer a shot. He eventually fed upwards and into a clear shooting lane. Don was ready and dropped him in his tracks with a clean one shot kill at 380 yards. This is Don's first buck and he was super pumped, as was I. It was an exciting trip. I forgot to mention, this was the October hunt. I was slow in posting. Also, it was a leftover tag and we had that area all to ourselves. Not all of the unit is overcrowded.

The giant 109" forkie someone posted comes to mind. It would really suck to have to pass up on that one. I would like to see more mature bucks out there though.

Not to mention the grass in 36B this year is as tall as I have ever seen it down there. I was with a friend on his hunt down there this weekend and snakes were on my mind a lot.

Not to hijack your thread, but how they handle each case depends on who you talk to in the customer service department that day. My dad has had bad experiences with Swaro customer service. I know others who have been blown away by how well they were treated. They are not consistent.

I saw it from Desert Center, CA at 5:30 am. Even from there it didn't look that far away.

Okay, so long story short, my truck was stolen and burned last week. I got a new one over the weekend and I want to get a good spray in bed liner put in. Who would you recommend here in the valley and what am I looking at price-wise?? I'm not looking for the cheapest. It's a brand new truck and I am looking for a high quality install. No, it was stolen here in Mesa 3 days after I moved here. In Florence I lived in Anthem Merrill Ranch and nobody messed with anybody's stuff out there. It had already been burned by the time I discovered it missing at 4:40 am. By the way, I forgot to mention earlier. I need recommendations on a good alarm system.

Part of what makes trail cams so much fun is never knowing what you're going to get when you upload that card to your computer. I know the lion is obvious but look a little closer and you'll see another cool critter in there. How rare it must be to get those two together in the same trail cam picture. I thought it was pretty unique. I hope you enjoy.

I didn't notice it right away. I actually have over 50 pictures of this lion at this spot over a 10 day period. He killed a deer in front of this tank and virtually lived in this spot for the next 10 days. The deer is right about where the lion is at but you can't see it in the pictures. I was out of town for a few weeks and my dad went and changed the card out for me. We've seen this lion on camera off and on for more than a year now in this spot. We've also seen a lot less deer activity in this spot in that same time. Probably time to do something about it. I saw two gila monsters and a really cool looking coral snake in one morning going into this spot in April of 2011. It was the first time I saw a gila monster in the wild and seeing 2 in one morning was just a bonus.

I just moved up to the Salt Lake City area last week for work and am dying to catch some trout. I prefer fishing rivers and streams but only using small tackle and spinners, I've never tried flycishing. I've been looking around on the Utah Game and Fish website but am having a hard time finding a listing of places to fish. Would someone please point me in the direction of a decent starting spot? I'm not looking for any secret holes filled with wallhangers, just would like to hike around these beautiful mountains and land a few trout. Thanks for your help. Daryl

There's a few of us. I've been in Fab 12, 22, 32 over the last 2 1/2 years. I've been working the swing shift over on the 42 side for the last 3 weeks.

Do you still have the pistol? If so I will buy it.

I already had a list of reasons why I won't do business with B of A before this was posted. This just adds more to it.

Are there any plans yet for this years get together??? Have dates and ideas been thrown around yet? I went in 2009 and have missed the last 2 years. I would really like to go this year.

It's good to know somebody is getting good customer service from them. I have been trying for 4 months now to get my pack fixed. Last email I sent them was December 28th, 2011 asking if they received my previous email, sent 3 weeks earlier, with the pictures showing what the problem was. They responded that their service department was backed up and they didn't have an answer for me yet. I guess they're still backed up, or maybe karen@eberlestock.com forgot about me. I love the Eberlestock packs and mine has served me well for about 5 years now. I just wish I could get it fixed. I have said from the very beginning that I would be happy to pay for the cost of repairs.

I saw that velvet coues in there one day and just sat there and stared. Unbelievable. It's worth the trip down there just to see that one, not to mention all the others.

My work cell is Sprint and the Verizon service we have on our other phone blows it away. I'm not thrilled with their customer service or prices, but their coverage is so much better than any other provider I have tried.
