    Go Cubbies!!!

I like Greinke for his competitiveness, but he's a Dodger and that overrides anything good about anybody. Either way, I think Arrieta is more deserving of the Cy Young award. How bad must it feel to win 98 games and be out after a one game playoff?!?!? Ouch for the Pirates.

    Nikon warranty work

I am sending off a pair of Nikon binoculars today to have some repair work done. For those of you who have sent product repairs in to Nikon, I was wondering what kind of turnaround time they have. I realize that in the Fall is when they are going to be busiest, just curious to hear of other's experiences with them. I know I should have done this sooner, but just found the problem today. Thanks.

    Nikon warranty work

Just as an update, Vortex sent me a brand new tripod. Awesome customer service. Nikon got the binos back to me in less than two weeks, but I'm not really happy with the work they did. They didn't address some of the issues I had with the binoculars.
  6. Honestly I asked for anyone interested not just myself. I know this member had 4 nice items for sale that Sold so little feedback gonna help his sale to me or others. Nobody ever wants to speak up and ask but I can handle the ridicule. avg Joe says Stephen b good to go and says his 12's are awesone! We lack the ability of verifying good and bad before sending cash and we have all Seen few had out of state dudes pop up on here that were not legit. Thanks Stephen b for being legit and a dang sure have good taste in optics. And sts45 your ridiculous. Hoghntr I didn't mean it as ridicule, just a friendly suggestion. Anybody who might be interested had the same ability to pm. Again, just a friendly suggestion. Another bump here. Good luck with the sale.
  7. Maybe just shoot them a pm and ask if they can provide a local reference. That way you avoid all of this. If they can't and you don't feel comfortable with the deal, you don't do it. Just an idea.

    Gotta brag, just a little

It means the world to a kid, even high school age, to know that his father is proud of him. Brag away. I was very successful in AZ high school sports back in the late 90's and now my nine year old son is following that same pattern. I love it. I brag to everybody about my son Keep it up Nick!!!

    No trash talk?

Who would have thought that Oregon would get man handled the way they did by Utah on their home field?!

    atv's

IMO buying a 2 wheel drive quad would be like buying a 2 wheel drive truck. It's a quad, why wouldn't you get 4 wheel drive?
  13. I finally got around to listening to this podcast. What an amazing story. I love that everything came together for you. You definitely deserved this buck. One question that I had as I listened: I believe you said the other two bucks were with your buck when you found him on the day that you got him. How did they factor into the stalk as far as having to avoid the extra noses and eyes?

    Flagstaff help

Is it illegal to pay in the form of a few cuts of the meat? I ask out of genuine curiosity. If I was up there I'd help for free. Very cool of those who already offered help.

    164 7/8" Coues

It seems like no matter what the circumstances of the hunt are, any time pictures of a huge buck get posted the thread ends up turning ugly. I love to see the pictures and hear the story of every single deer harvested, big or small. I really appreciate Brandon taking the time to share his story and pictures. What an amazing buck. I know a lot of guys kill big bucks and we never hear about it or see any pictures because of the negative remarks of others.

    Nikon warranty work

On a side note, my vortex tripod also suffered as part of my mishap and I sent them to Vortex along with sending the binos to Nikon on Tuesday around 1 PM. I've already got a tracking number from Vortex and my tripod will be back to me this coming Wednesday. Now that's some great customer service.

It won't be a lot, but you should be able to cut the steaks with a fork. My first buck was like that.

Not bad for a 14 year old!

I love this post! Brag all day long. I think that it is great that he has the support of his parents for what he loves to do. I was a basketball nut in high school, but my dad didn't think there was any value in the summer camps. I never got to go to any of them. I played on an undefeated junior varsity team as a sophomore at Mountain View in Mesa. My junior year I missed the varsity team by two spots. That team finished ranked 7th in the country by USA Today. I now have 3 boys of my own and I will support them 100% in whatever they decide they want to do. My 8 year old is a sports nut and is really excelling at soccer. I've had people that played professional soccer tell me that he has all the tools to go as far as he wants with it. This wasn't a club guy trying to sell me a club team membership either. Going to my kids sporting events is tops on my list of things I like to do. Tell your son to keep up the hard work and that we're cheering for him.
