Hard work with great friends pays off big!!!
daryl_s replied to shanehamblin's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
Awesome!!!! Congratulations. -
Sweet bow at a great price. I'm guessing that people are probably set up for the current archery seasons right now. I bet it would have gone fast six weeks ago.

How is the sizing on Lowas? I wear a size 10 1/2 in most boots, but I wear an 11 in Danners. I've been wanting to get some Lowas.
-
I wouldn't say this draw went pretty smooth, they didn't charge me for anything.
-
I'll give you $40 for both pairs.

It's almost always a little hotter than reported on the news. The weather station at Trilogy Golf course at Power and Queen Creek hit 122° between 3 and 4pm today.

backpacking in the southern units, mainly 36b
daryl_s replied to firstcoueswas80's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
As soon as you get a few miles in either direction from border towns, yes. Some places like 36B have very long stretches of full on fence, but in a lot of remote border country that little stuff is all you see. -
Tikka T3 SS Lite .270 & Cannondale Road Bikes
daryl_s replied to montejello's topic in Classified Ads
Those are great prices on the bikes. Have you posted them anywhere else? There's not many cyclists on here. -
I would think Big Lake wouldn't be too crowded next weekend since most people that like to camp and fish are out right now.

Who wants to road trip to Rocky Point?? I know its not Cabo, but this thread is killing me. I want to get out there so bad right now.

If you're okay with topo maps instead of flatline maps AZ Hiking Shack on 32nd St and Thomas has pretty much every topo map for the state. If I remember correctly they are just under $10 each.

Hahaha, I saw one of these pics on Instagram earlier today. I double tapped it. Looks like you had a great time. Thanks for sharing with us.

12x50 swarovski EL V.S. Vortex Kaibab HD 15x56
daryl_s replied to corkin it's topic in Optics and tripods
Here's your solution, but it might already be too late. http://www.coueswhitetail.com/forums/topic/65730-12x50-swaros-with-stud-2100/ -
I have used this method very effectively. I don't have a problem knocking off a feral or stray cat that causes havoc in my yard, but I don't need Sheriff Joe knocking on my door. Cheap cans of wet cat food and traps worked like a charm for me. Every morning I put the traps in the back of my truck and drove the cats 19 miles to work, which was an industrial area in Tolleson. Let em go and never saw them again.

Here.... http://www.coueswhitetail.com/forums/topic/64923-lamp-shades/ When you go to this link keep in mind that every post by .270 was made by 7/08. An admin changed his username on April Fools Day and it has since been changed back.

I met Jim at the antlerfest at the Ellsworth place a few years ago. Great guy that has put down some absolute monsters here in AZ and Mexico. He even shared a few shed hunting tips with me. I would love to hunt with him someday.

In the other thread with the same name. And it is well worth the click. Beautiful fish.

I bought a bonus point because I am trying to work and do college at the same time. I'm trying to get a college degree before I'm 40 and provide for a wife and four kids. I don't know what my Falls will look like for the next few years. I now have 9 bonus points and really want to make the most of a premium tag. I'll probably keep buying bonus points until I finish school and can really give an early archery tag the effort and attention it deserves. As long as I can hunt coues every Fall/Winter I can get by without losing my sanity.
-
I would rather buy kids a set of 15's and not give up mine . There is plenty of opportunity. Check the thread about fall hunt recommendations and tell us there are not enough tags being issued because some cameras hang on trees. If you cannot get a deer tag every year you aren't trying. I have drawn a deer tag here in AZ every year since I was 12 years old. That's been almost 25 years now. It's not hard to figure out how to do it.

I am looking to sell my Zeiss Conquest HD 10x42. I bought these brand new last Fall and have only had them out for a total of 4 days. These are in perfect condition. Lenses are flawless. I am selling to move up to 15x optics. I will include everything that came with the binos when I bought them and I will also include the outdoorsman stud and tripod adapter. These are top tier optics as you would expect from Zeiss. The clarity is amazing and I can glass comfortably all day with these. Price is $850 firm. I live in Queen Creek off of Power and Queen Creek roads and can meet up with anybody within a reasonable distance. You can call or text me at 480-5oo-6545. Daryl

I was blown away when I realized this thread would probably make it to over 100,000 views. At the rate it is going, is it too soon to think we could actually hit 1,000,000 views??? I guess it depends on when results come out. I would also like to take credit for hitting page 70

daryl_s replied to Evinruud's topic in Classified Ads
This should be gone before bedtime tonight at this price. Maybe you should post it over in the elk thread. -
Thanks for the kind words Vince. Binos are sold. It was nice to meet you, Eddie. Good luck with the draw, if it ever happens, and Fall hunts.
