I know how you guys feel, I had two cameras set up (in) a dirt bank on a water puddle not a tank and was trying to get a better look at a buck hitting it, and some peterpuffer stole both of them, although this was down in 18a, it still eats at me. Thank heavens they weren't digitals.

I thought that Coati's are protected also. I'm in Northern Az where there are none, Are you guys just kidding around or is there really a season, or are you going to make me look in the reg's. I heard they are protected in N.M. also, we saw one there during our Coues hunt.

You should do fine on the cow hunt, we've got a ton of elk, just do your homework, and hunt hard in the mornings, best time to hunt. Everything by this time has been hunted for quit a while. Little skittish but will be doable. Good luck. Any place can be good, just a matter of trying to get away from everybody. I guide here in Williams so the info is good. Have fun

I'll tell you what, you've got your work cut out for. I live and hunt 10 year around, and I'll tell you what, very, very, very, very, few deer left, and the ones you see are anything but great. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but this is as tough as a hunt can get. If you've got a tag, good luck, also the lands that are throughout 10 that are checkerboarded state/private are locked off by ranchers, one allows foot access and the rest are sticklers.

If you are fairly close do your scouting. I've heard that this is a good unit. I'm out of Az and a buddy that lives in Silver City told me to put in for this unit, and three of us got drawn, what are the odds. Not much of a coues hunter, but I have hunted them. Good luck

You know most spots for coues. What do you know about unit 23 burro mtns in New Mexico, late hunt/rifle. After my moms hunt last year, I'm kinda excited to harvest one myself. Don't tell Tiger I said that though. Any info is appreciated.

I got the late coues burro mtns hunt for rifle. I take it that this is a good hunt. I'm from az so this will be new for me. I would like to kill one descent coues and I'll be happy. Any Info. You can probably find out on az on the 22nd through the 24th. Good luck.

I heard UltraMag talk about unit 23, I'm not looking for any top honey holes, just any info. I was drawn for the 23 burro mtns late hunt. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Lots of scouting is planned. I also was drawn the 15 late elk hunt. Any good info or past experience is again appreciated. I live in Az so I apologize to any locals not getting drawn. I know how it usually feels.

That hunt is incredible, I saw more bucks in one day than I new what to do with. That hunt is by far the best for coues in the state. Congratulations. The last one I killed was scored at 115 inches.
