Good reply by both of you. Trick Tanks are usually easy to repair, sometimes just a good old fashioned clean out, or 5 to 10 dollars out of your pocket, and a honey hole is working again. It seems like nowadays, its up to us, not gnf or forest circus. To many college kids that don't know much of anything, and don't spend the time in the woods. Forest Service has cut back on employees, and alot of the old timers have or are retired. And kill them stinkin Yotes.

You guys should enter the varmint calling contest we have over here in williams, the contest is the 28th and 29th of Jan. Alot of fun, for a good reason, and a good meal at the end of the hunt. You can enter at Sportway supplies for sure, maybe Ruffs or the bow shop in flag.

I had to reply, After looking at the photos again, that deer is definitely going to gross in the 200's. And if you kill him with a bow, he will probably, and I say that strongly, be the new P&Y typical record for Az.

That deer is big, He definitely scores in the high 190's or better bet, he brakes the 200 mark, most deer that go books are 24' to 26' inches wide, thats the real deal. Congrats, that deer should be up here on the kaibab with me! JK. Whack that toad.

I killed one with Rick Murphy last year that weighed in at 180 lbs, I would put a picture but this site always says there to big, the picture that is. Well, I live and work in N.Az, and also wear the pickle suit. I am a Supervisor for a wildland fire crew and have been in my job for 15 years. I fall the biggest of trees, fix dirt tank, repair trick tanks and do a ton of prescribed burning, along with guiding as a hobbie. Although I was raised as a Mule Deer hunter, and have killed alot of big ones with my bow, the coues as to most, caught me with the addiction. Go figure.

Tell me about it Josh, This is P.T., it just about killed me to come back and see someone made off with them. Although I've been expecting it, it still erks me.

I'm a very knowledgeable hunter, more than you know, though I've never looked up a season on an animal that I've only seen once, that looks like a rat/ringtail cat. And if it's not available to hunt in my area, or there is no reason to kill it, then why look it up.
