I had pretty good results using a max load of H-4350. I had one rifle that shot IMR-4350 a tad better than the H.

I remember you could see the Cudahy sign off from Van Buren St. That locker plant that was at Main and Extension was behind a military surplus store, I think the name was Laradas. I thought it was Millers before they moved to Queen Creek. That one that was on McKellips and Stapley, Stones had their kill pen right by the store. I've probably passed this 50 some times and wondered what it was. Nobody that I've asked seems to know. Nothing else around it, and the metal on top is welded.

Any guess where? It's on the side of the road in plain view.

Usually with a factory 30 cal barrel it's either in 10 or 12 twist, so the typical 150-180 bullets should work fine. On a typical .308 Win, if the rifle is right, and the shooter can shoot, they are usually very accurate.

Make no mistake there are some real jerks working as safety officers at the public ranges, but I bet every last one of them that's been working for awhile has had a loaded weapon pointed at them. If you have spent some time at a public range pretty much seen it all, as far as being unsafe goes. If you have been to a range without a safety officer, take a look around. How many holes are in the over hanging roof? How much stuff has been shot up? Chairs, posts holding the over hang up, ect.
