Anything stuck in the chamber? I shot my rifle, took it home and cleaned it, next time I went to shoot it, I couldn't get a round into the chamber, but a fired case would chamber. I took it over to Accuracy Speaks, Marty (red haired guy, who passed) sprayed some WD-40 down the barrel and then blew it out. It was the little o-ring off my bore guide that broke off and latched onto the chamber. That was a while ago. I still check for an o-ring when I take the bore guide out of a rifle.

Probably 3-4 Privates grabbed off the hey you roster and handed a shovel, and told I've got a little job for ya.

I'll say it again. The 3 biggest lies in the outdoor world are the person rating on a tent, the velocity on a box of ammo, and the temp rating on a sleeping bag!

A few years ago, I was at Morman Lake for a wedding. They had a stable with horses for rent there, but it wasn't cheap then, and I doubt if it is now.

7 STW Shooting Times Western, some gun hack back in the 80's or 90's took an large case and necked it down to 7mm. Rumored to be a top of the line barrel burner. Was this rifle originally chambered for it, or is the original chambering stamped out and 7mm STW next to it? Looks like a New Haven model 70, that even if the barrel is toast, your bud still got a good deal. Should be worth 1000-1200 with an online sale. Just my two cents.
