I didn't know that you and him were going to throw hands. I didn't say anything about squaring off, at my age it wouldn't look like much, an old lady swatting flys. Didn't mean to derail the thread, but since you seem comfortable sitting on the side lines, maybe that's where you should stay.

I don't think Outdoorwriter ever said anything about your service. He did infact state many times that you were all mouth though!

trophyhntr, I'm betting that you didn't have a day of High School ROTC. OutdoorWriter had you pegged.

This has gone on for 3 pages so far, and there has been many concerns, mostly how it's going to affect the dollars in their pockets. Not one post about some poor bastard in a uniform in harms way somewhere. Typical of posters here though. I'm betting the biggest grippers didn't have one drop of sweat roll down their back into the crack of their butt to do anything for this country.

Having a lifetime license doesn't really mean all that much. I have a lifetime license and I just went for the trifecta of not getting drawn. Deer, javelina, and Elk (13 points). I'm beginning to wonder if I could draw flies if I stepped into a cesspool! Congrats to all that got a tag

No expert. That looks like some kind of a meat cutting knife. Shapleigh was a hardware store in St. Louis that sold all kinds of products. I recently inherited a box of stuff that was my Grandfather's. There was a pocket knife that was stamped Bridge Cutlery Co St Louis. It was an brand of knife that was made by Shapleigh, and they also had a couple of other brands, one being Keen Cutter if memory serves. The bottom knife in the pic is the Bridge Cutlery Co.

Hey Guys, I didn't want to step on Tomgobblers thread Pine Box, but everyone has their time, and maybe there's some of you like myself that has more days behind you than in front. Any way if you have an honorable discharge, Uncle Sam will set aside a plot and headstone for you. I recently contacted the VA for prior authorization, something you might want to do to save your survivors from doing so. I applied on the VA website in Sept of 25, due to the govt shutdown I received the paperwork yesterday.

Anyone looking for coal? Asking for a friend.

How about Jumbosports? They weren't open very long, but they sold guns.

There was the Phoenix Shooters Supply also. When Sportsman's Warehouse opened it closed a couple of Mom and Pops around, it was hard to feel sorry for them when they filed bankruptcy. Bear Mountain used to have a different name if I remember right. The Pistol Parlor used to be on Southern and Country Club. When I bought this Rem 700 from Az Sportsman, a customer came in wanting a rifle that would shoot out to 1500 yards, he wanted to hunt one of them Coues Deer.
