I have 2 rifles for sale, I live in northern AZ: The first one is a Savage Model 110 Package Series in the 270 caliber. Right handed model. The scope is a Simmons 3X9 40mm. This gun is new, I have shot this gun very few times (less than 30 times). Its the composite stock with the matt black barrel. This gun has been kept in my gun safe, and I have the manual for it. $300.00 The second rifle is a Ruger Model 77 Mark 2 in the 243 caliber. Its a compact model. Right handed, with no scope. Like the first gun, this gun is basically brand new, however I have shot it a little. Probably less than 60 rounds. Its the laminated stock with a blued barrel. This gun has also been kept in my gun safe, and I have the manual for it. Also, I'm including a set of RCBS dies with this rifle (resizing die and seating die). $600.00 If anyone has any questions, let me know.

AGFD announcement regarding budget
muleybull replied to CouesWhitetail's topic in Miscellaneous Items related to Coues Deer
Hey rembrandt, my example of help from the MDF. There was help from the agency, but not the G&F. The agency I work for went to the game and fish to look for a little kickback, since it was a project they were interested it. AZGFD didnt do the work, the money from MDF went through their hand first since this was to benefit a AZ big game species. The agency I work for did all the planning, went through all the clearances, wrote the burn plans, and when it comes time, we will put together the burn organization and complete the prep work, complete the burn, and complete all post burn activites. Guarantee, no fishcops will be present during any of this. -
AGFD announcement regarding budget

Unfortunately, as far as I am concerned, AZGFD is on thier own. I live in northern AZ. Someone please name one habitat improvement project that has taken place up here in the last 5 years. Projects lead by AZGFD, not by someone else. I'm not saying there not there, I just dont know of any. The only projects I know of are projects that I myself have put together (repairing game waters, dirt tanks, etc.) or the agency I work for has put together, with absolutely no help from AZGFD. Yes, I'm bashing them. I have hunted for over 25 years of my life. On averag I spend over 120 days of my own time in the field (not counting the days I spend in the field due to my job). I have run into two GF officers during that period. Once during a rifle elk hunt in unit 7, and once at a dirt tank while dove hunting. I have reported 3 seperate poaching incidents that were very near town, with no outcome. One of which was an illegally shot deer during the archery season, the guys spent all day tracking a shot deer after I reported them, and came back the next day and continued tracking the deer until almost dark. I dont live in the big city, I live in a small town thats population is a majority of hunters. Maybe if they dont have the money from all the licenses and tags, they'll stop funding habitat projects for non-game species and start concentrating on the game species that brings revenue to their department. Case in point, we will be conducting a prescribed fire in unit 15a. The primary focus is habitat improvement for the Mule Deer. AZGFD did kick down money to help pay for this burn.............but, its not thier money, the money is comming from the Mule Deer Foundation, so my hats off to the MDF for their money. Down with AZGFD. -
My 2 cents, carbons.......mainly because they'll last longer.

Nice find, whatever you do, be very careful. I know a guy that just cleared up 3 felony charges just for picking up a dead head. Its not all about the law, its all about the fishcop you run into. -
I heard Billy Bob was up on a high point glassing big bucks from 2 miles away............thats so unethical. Lets bash him awhile, give Randy a rest.
-
Tough to say, but I'd bet its not packs of lions. Anytime anything bad happens, its either Bush's fault or it was lions.

Having grown up in a small pro hunter town and being friends with a lot of guys that hunt (lions with dogs) for a living, I have heard this a thousand times. During any hunting season you can get daily reports of lion sightings, tracks, kills, etc. Everyone is always seeing lions, some guys see them everytime they walk outside. But I can probably count on one hand how many of these reports turned out to be an actual lion. Most lion hunters wont even listen to this kind of stuff. Me, I think its funny. Keep chasing the magical lion.
-
Is this a new breed of lion? Cause I just saw a pleathera of lions running through the middle of town chasing dog packs. I treed a pack of 8 lions last month, and they all came out of the tree and killed all my dogs and my huntng partner. I barely made it back to the truck. I had a lion claw stuck in the back of my leg that the doctor had to pull out later. Lucky.

Better yet, with the price of those shells, sharpen your barrel and throw the gun at them.
-
Lions running in packs??????????? Were all screwed.
-
Best thing you can do with that load is throw the bullet at them........

Funny reading people complain about things they dont like or cant afford. People complain about the use of compound bows, electronic callers, binoculars, trailcams, atv's............................ The list goes on. Has Randy Ulmer ever been under fire for illegal actions? As high a profile hunter as him, probably nobody pays much attention to him, huh? If you dont like or agree with flying...........dont do it. I figured that out all by myself. If I had the money, I'd have a paraglider. Like muley said, it would be fun.

Its the sabertooth coues!!!

I hope to find a buck like that on my upcomming hunt. What fire crew do you work for?

As much trash as a lot of people talk about "do it the man way, pack in........hike in..........crawl in.......roar!". I sure dont see a lot of people left in the woods late in the hunt. I dont see a lot of people while Im walking or glassing. So it seems lots of you are full of schit. If your offended by the above comment................I guess you have an idea who I'm talking to. As far as quad use, I use them to get around...............I even used them to pack something out. Those big low pressure rubber tires tore the country side up so bad, I dont think it'll ever be the same. It usually tears the countryside up so bad that oftentimes I cant even find my own tracks on the third or fourth return trip to the animal. Hop on your horse, haul food and water for him. I'll honk at you as I pass you for the 20th time during a pack out contest. Game and fish will always find another way to get your not very hard earned money. Peace.
