Yay! One of the most entertaining parts of the show, I enjoyed it so much!!! I would have loved to have my two labs there, they go crazy when they see water.

Very moving video, thanks for sharing. So sorry for your loss. It's crazy how these animals work their way into our lives and then leave such a permanent mark on our hearts.

Nice Cody! Good job! Sounds like an excellent stalk and shot!!!
-
Great Job and awesome video! Congrats to you and your brothers!!

Keep trying!!! Like I said, it took us a long time and a lot of different calls to finally get someone who had knowledge of the program... Well worth it though, there is so much that needs to be done, with the current budget cutbacks and lack of manpower, G&F can't do it by themselves.
-
Yes, G&F will supply material, BUT it has to go through all the 'red tape' so sometimes it takes a little bit. We went ahead and bought some of our own tools since we don't like borrowing tools (even from G&F )

Very, very cool! Great picture, shows how steep that hill was! Any pictures of your dad's?
-
Wow, beautiful Doug! I especially love the pictures of the Grand Canyon, with the Canyon being so close, it holds a special part of my heart, I never get use to seeing it!
-
That is soooooo cool!

I've posted this before, but check out my husband Roger's shirt! In this picture Louis and Roger are relaxing at the bar by the fire ring, enjoying a cold libation after a successful day of hunting!
-
Ahhhhhh! Amanda you got to meet Louis!!! I went hunting with Zingeli last summer! If anyone wants a great South African hunt Louis is your man! I will def. go back. I actually took him a couple of those cams that he bought from Bull Basin.

Magnus Rack Pack I haven't bought one yet, but have seen and sat in a friends. Not only will help you pack your blind in and out of areas, it will hold meat and antlers and it turns into a very comfortable chair with a high back. At 6'1" I have a hard time with the stools and smaller chairs. I plan on buying one of these this next season. http://www.magnusrackpack.com/home.php

LOST MY BEST QUAIL HUNTING PARTNER
lucky2hunt replied to AZMEATHUNTER's topic in Small Game, Upland Bird, and Waterfowl Hunting
I'm sorry! It's so hard to lose our pups.. "When one hunts with a friend, it hardly matters who kills the birds. It hardly matters whether birds are killed at all. One must do right by the birds, by one's partner, and by the dogs. Hunting is a path, a muddy, brushy, dank, and spoor-written path along which the seeker, if his spirit be right, can truly feel the earth. If he is fortunate, he travels with a true dog and a true friend." -Charles Fergus "A Rough-Shooting Dog," 1991
