Just means yours got to the post office Friday night or Saturday morning, and when theirs arrived at the post office on Saturday evening or Sunday morning it was on the top of the pile when Game and Fish showed up to pick up the mail on Monday morning. It's all about being in the right spot on the pile....which you really can't control. Only thing you can control is not being there too early or a day too late.

When you check in a bear they can tell if it is lactating or not. It's one of the things they look for. I don't know how they'd prove that the cubs were actually present and still alive when the bear was taken though.

The last few seasons they have designed the hunts for the Raymond herd to exterminate it so that they can bring in a genetically pure herd from Wind Cave National Park in South Dakota. And, contrary to what the article in the link below seems to suggest, the plan is for hunting on Raymond to resume at some point in the future. See the attached article: https://www.arizonahighways.com/blog/agreement-will-establish-protected-bison-herd-arizona

I got burned a couple years back playing the leftover game. Never again. I now put a 36 hunt as a third choice and live with the consequences. If I ever draw a strip tag it will be by pure luck and not because I was in the bonus pass. I'd rather make sure that I can hunt every year.

Reduced to $425, firm.

I've decided to sell a Winchester Model 70 in 270WSM. It's black on black--and if I remember right was marked under the monkier "ultimate shadow" or "ultimate black shadow." The gun will come with bases (but not rings) for a Leupold dual dovetail set up. I'm the second owner (bought it from a fellow CWT member), and the original owner had some trigger work done to it. It's nice and crisp. I have been handloading for it and found several loads that it liked right off the bat. I was getting 1" groups at 200 yards, but I'm sure with some extra time and work I could have shrunk them even more. A small part of the synthetic stock has a scuff on it that I will try to make sure shows up in the photos. My father in law took a tumble while packing an elk off of the Peaks hunt a couple years back. The scope took most of the fall (and was not worse for wear), but there is the scuff. Selling to fund an ultra mag project. $475 PM or text me. 480-495-zero one 3 four.

Such a new product. Kind of like asking a guy if he wants to divorce his new bride before the honeymoon even starts. :-)

I would think they'd work well for striper fishing too.

I have 42 lead slab lures available. I bought them years ago thinking I would do more saltwater fishing. few of them are missing hooks and have chipped or missing paint, but the majority of them are in great condition. I'll ship them to your door for $65. Send me a PM if interested. I have them cross posted.

I'd be all over the powders if you weren't in Tucson. :-)

Good price for Kodiak 8 man Flexbow $499?
1uglydude replied to twigsnapper's topic in Classified Ads
I've been researching these same questions. I'm going with this model for the extra ventilation. http://www.competitiveedgeproducts.com/Super-Deluxe-Kodiak-Canvas-Tent-6041VX-10x14-with-tarp-6043_p_23.html Near as I can tell, the advantage to Springbar is the backing of a domestic company with a history of good service. Their cheaper tents are made in China just like the Kodiak. If you spend a few hundred more you can get a handmade domestic Springbar...I'm just not ready to drop that much yet. Also, Springbar doesn't offer the side ventilation I'm looking for in their basic models. -
Which 55gr hornady projectile are you using?

The guy that shot and killed Rob Krentz had been arrested, processed and released four times by the Border Patrol. They had his prints and his picture on file. Each time he was released he apparently went right back to smuggling. I thought his killer had not yet been identified? The last report I saw said they were looking at two residents of Cochise County, but that their DNA didn't end up matching the cigarette butts left at the scene?

How many 55gr hornady fmjs would you want for the 7mm and .257 ballistic tips?

Finalized the sale this afternoon guys. Thanks for the interest.

My daughter has decided that she wants a "wood" gun and told me to sell her pink Crickett to that end. $90 with the scope and mounts. I'm in the east valley.

I have replied to the PMs...which arrived in the same order as the replies above. I'll work through in that order and let everyone know when it is sold.
-
Minimum shipping is probably close to $6...I'll let someone else take it. Thanks for the offer though.

I'll take it if you're close to the east valley.

I'm buying my first side by side. I can't make sense of when MVD will require a Maricopa County resident to get emissions testing done on ATVs and motorcycles. There seems to be a designation of "off road only" vs "primarily off-highway" vs "primarily improved highway." It seems like if I'm going to be driving well-maintained dirt roads like the 300 roads, that I'm likely looking at "primarily off-highway." I have called MVD and ADEQ four times and got four different answers concerning when or if I need emissions testing. Yet I have buddies who have machines older than 5 years old, who live in Maricopa County, have them designated as primarily off-road, by who have NEVER had to have the emissions done. Is there anyone out there who might be able to shed some light on this for me?

That's what I thought too...but I say that to these ladies on the phone and they act like I'm pulling stuff out of my butt trying to pull one over on them.
