Creed You just summed up archery elk hunting in a nutshell. This was my 2nd archery elk hunt and decided to take a 4x5 this year. My 1st hunt was unsuccessful. It's amazing how much you learn from those hunts Congrats on putting it all in perspective and having a great time!

I 2nd the Diamond D, made in Alaska. I use one for a 454 Casull and a 45 auto. Both holsters work extremely well with a backpack and even under my badlands bino harness. They are leather, very durable and a few options when you order one. Like ammo holders and configuration.
