Vortex 20x60HD or Swavros 15x56????????
Chris replied to Big G 243's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
I agree with Swivelhead. Zeiss glass is better but the ergonomics is smoother for Swarovski, primarily on the wheel to focus. A great way to compare glass, find a neighbors palm tree fronds (spelling?) , on one of those 60 footers, about 1/2 mile away, and you'll see which glass is sharper. -
It's getting dry up there! Pray for rain!

I herd a cow elk could bugle, but I have never seen it happen in person, until yesterday! Pretty cool. 3 pitches and all.

Does he use the Scope & bino bracket ?

Short racks .....5b ?

What magnification are they now? I thought 60 was their max?

Carbon bows from Hoyt and PSE...over $1300 I'll keep my Hoyt Vectrix another year or two!

I had one dry up..... about 3 days later, I filled it up with local tank water. Lots of work. Nothing showed. Those elk know where the puddles are when it rains. I've learned to keep track of those spots when a storm is coming, for hunting.

I guess we are still at 60% ?

That "batch" sending is pretty expensive so I doubt they go that route???

I had the same issue this morning. I reported the site as safe, and now I can get back on. Probably PITA

http://mescaleroapachetribe.com/1463/mescalero-conservation-department/ I really like this part of their process: (hello Az G&F) Legal Animal: One (1) bull with at least five (5) points or more on each antler. Note: $10 due at time of application. If drawn, remaining $250 needs to be paid by or before 1st day of hunt.

Wow.

You might read Shane Koury's facebook post about hunting them. He opted for a guide because that Buffalo hunt can be extremely difficult. And he is a guide.

Steiner XP Night Hunter (mint on ebay, right now $400) Maybe not, he has "0" feedback! Nice glass. Better than Nikons. I like my Steiner 10x42's (Cabelas name stuck on it) and they'll compare to my Swaro 10x42....very close! I don't know if Cabelas still runs these, but on sale they were $500 I've kind of become a binocular addict. -
This is how I feel during this draw ....

Great fighting with hooves pics!
