Looking to sell my Vanguard Alta+ 264AO tripod head combo. I've had this tripod for a little over a year now. It has been a fantastic tripod/head combo and really can't be beat for the money. The head is a fluid like head and is very smooth. I'll include the specs below. It has been used but is in excellent working condition with minimal wear marks. Will include the tripod/head combo, carry bag, and a extra base plate (2 plates total). The head and extra plate retail new for just over $185. Will sell for $100. Total weight is not listed below, but is 4.63 pounds. http://www.amazon.com/Vanguard-Alta-264AO-Aluminum-Magnesium/dp/B001HBIZ08

Az Deer Association Banquet

Definitely a fun night. We enjoyed meeting you guys. I was lucky in the silent auction and ended up going home with an Outdoorsmans medium compact tripod. Considering maybe switching it out for the tall tripod. What would you guys go with? -
Just a little tease from the Az Deer Association.......WINNER Posted

Will you also be selling these tickets at the banquet tomorrow? -
I'm looking for a bed cover for my 2013 Ford F150 with a 5.5 ft bed. I'm trying to find something hard and lockable like a Undercover Flex or Bakflip. I'd love to save a few dollars by buying something used that someone might not need. Needs to be in pretty good condition. Thanks

Here is a great comparison article about all of them that was posted here a while back. http://www.rokslide.com/gear/essentials/363-the-big-cooler-showdown

Every review and testimonial I have heard or read says Canyon Coolers are the best of the class regardless of price. I don't have any of them yet, but if I do, it will be a Canyon Cooler. Also, Canyon Coolers being a local AZ company is a extra plus in my book.

Live Alberta Canada trip report

Not that you need my support, but given what you have stated, I wouldn't fault you at all for continuing to hunt. Were I in your situation, I believe I would. -

You wouldn't catch me within 20 miles of one of the Rim lakes on Memorial day weekend. The area around Big Lake will be busy as well, but there is so much more area in the White Mountains that it doesn't get nearly as congested. You can find great places to camp if you don't mind moving a little further from the lakes.
-
Just be sure not to camp within 1/4 mile of any of these lakes or you will likely get asked to pack up and move. Speaking specifically of Knoll Lake, you can no longer camp anywhere along that final road (marked in red) that leads up to the lake other than the campground. All disbursed camping must be along the road before and after this final road. I doubt you will be able to have a campfire at any of these locations. But know that the dividing lines for Coconino and Apache Sitgreaves National Forests divides right at Knoll lake. East side is Apache Sitgreaves and West is Coconino. Fire restriction might differ for each.

Pretty sure Bonecollector had a mount ruined by them recently. Terrible work.

Have fun Adam! Can't wait to hear about it. -
Jed Larson, another guy that should be at the top of the list. Great guy!

I haven't hunted with Burnt Timber but have met and chatted with Daniel Franco a few times. Good guy. I'd definitely give them some consideration as well.

I believe that leaves 3 open seats left at the table.... -
That is where I figure you were going. Doesn't work that way. See the exerpt I posted above from the regs. Your license must be valid on the last day of the application deadline, not the day you apply. The license you buy on Feb 1 will not be valid on the final day of the application deadline the following year. Take 2016 and 2017 for example. Let's say you bought your license in 2016 on the last day possible for elk which was 2/09/16. In 2017 that draw deadline will be on 2/14/17 (second Tuesday in February). You license is no longer valid.
