Last year my card was hit about 7:30 AM the following morning after the card update deadline. But that tends to fluctuate a lot from year to year and draw cycle to draw cycle. The elk/antelope charges this past spring didn't start till over two weeks after the card update deadline.

Got word last week that our Wyoming bucks from last fall are ready for pick up. Can't wait to get my hands on them.

Got them done for the family. 13 apps x $13 =$169 in app fees. It will be worth it if we can pull a couple tags again this year. Let the anticipation begin! Last year the cards starting hitting the following morning after the deadline to update cards. So far this draw process has been smooth. Hoping for a repeat of last year. The deadline for credit cards is just over three weeks away (July 7th).

I'm scheduled to have surgery with Dr. Schwartz a week from tomorrow. My surgery (epi-LASIK) is just a little under that amount. If still available please let me know.

You might check out a couple of Jay Scott's podcast with Craig Steele. He gives some great tips on calling in cats and targeting cats vs. coyotes. Episode 118 I believe.

It was a meteor. https://www.facebook.com/italk1067/videos/1110662552310524/ -
AWESOME!!! I say wall, but that is because if it were mine, I know the kids and dogs would destroy it if it were on the ground.

My wife and I went last year. It was her second hunt and first harvest. It was a fantastic experience for both of us. Here are some pictures and a video to get pumped up.

Just a little tease from the Az Deer Association.......WINNER Posted

Dave (azelkhunter2) is really a stand up guy and has helped me out on several occasions. I can't see how anyone could or would question his integrity, so I want to assume this must be a misunderstanding. These raffles are just one of many great things that Dave does for our community. It isn't right to see this thread, or anything he and the Arizona Deer Association is involved with, turning in a negative direction or being looked on a negative light. If you are sincere in your interest to discuss this with Dave I encourage you to send him a PM or give him a call, as he requested, so we can keep this post in the spirit it was intended. Thanks -

I have a couple of questions about the tripod extensions. I recently picked a tall tripod from Colt and really like it. However, I find that at 6'4" I wouldn't mind an extra few inches of height. How much weight would it add on to my tripod with one of your extensions Would the short extension work on my setup and give me the height I need, or am I better off with the tall extension? Also, I have the short bino adapter. How much taller is the tall adapter? Thanks

These boots are in almost new condition. I bought them over a little over a month ago and wore them for part of the AM hours on a turkey hunt. After wearing them through our AM setups, I decided they weren't for me, went back to the truck and put my old ones back on. Long story short, I have two freakily different size feet. One foot has a super high arch, is size 8, and has been through multiple surgeries. The other foot is flat and size 11.5. Normally I just buy 11.5 and don't have any issues, but this isn't always the case with hunting boots. I could not make these work as the smaller foot will not fit snug enough, and I can't return them. They are very similar in style to Kenetrek and a few other top end boots. They were purchased from Danner's website at a price of $300. I'll include the link below. I will sell them for $150. http://www.danner.com/product/hunt/mountain-assault-boot-8-canteen.html They might have a little dust on them, but are in otherwise new condition.

LOL, I was going to type this.

If they ban hunting in the next 30 years then there will be no game and fish dept except to patrol the lakes. I will definatly get to sheep hunt then in whatever unit I want. No cops to catch me. I will only take one. Lol When it comes to sheep unless you have max, everyone pretty much has the same chance at drawing with 1-26 points. Won't need wardens. We will all have government tracker implants by them that will report our every movement.
-
Unfortunately if you're 39 with only 7 points you'll more than likely never draw. Definitely won't reach max points so you'll have to get lucky in the random draw. And even more sad is your son starting at 11 years old will never reach max either. So just cross your fingers every year and hope you get lucky! Unless something changes even guys with 23-24 points right now will never have max.Not banking on ever reaching max points, but I also don't put in for the "premium" unit.

My 11 year old begged me to start putting him in this year so he can start building points and hopefully hunt one before he hits retirement. I'd say that is a pretty good estimate of how long it will take. I'm 39 with 7 points. By the time I draw I'll probably have to pass the tag down to my grand kid or great grand kid. Hopefully I'll still be able to kick it with them in camp when that happens. LOL Who am I kidding to think we will still be hunting in 30+ years? The liberals will have completely banned hunting long before this ever happens.
