I think you can drive to their shop and pick one up.

They are based out of the south Tempe.

As turkey season draws closer, I tend to see these come on sale a lot. If you aren't in a rush, you can probably get one new for close to that price range.

Some obvious leftist nonsense to begin the article. But the land transfer portions are pretty accurate. I am a member of BHA and follow these issues pretty closely. I was very disappointed that this particular piece of terrifying legislation for any who love to recreate in the outdoors included. Keep an eye on this one...

Federal 215 primer super tight in new brass and one real bad
rossislider replied to apache12's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
I've had this happen with .223 a lot. I have found that I can avoid it 99% of the time if I squeeze my hand primer slowly just until I feel the primer come into contact with the brass. Twist the brass around and you will eventually feel the primer settle in the pocket. Then press it into the brass in the rest of the way. Should slip right in. -
I have used Turbo Tax personal and small businesses since my wife started her business a few years ago. It walks you through most every type of deduction I could think of.

I'll also add, that I am a fan of both Vortex and Swaro and disagree with the crowd that loves to bash all things Vortex. As someone who has owned and still currently uses both brands (Razor 10x42s for my son and wife, Vortex Razor 27-60x85 spotter, and Swaro el 12x50), I have never understood it. NO, Vortex are not as good as Swaro, but I don't think I have ever heard them claim to be. In their price range, they make a very good product and from a customer service standpoint, they are an outstanding company.

I upgraded my Razors 12x50s to Swaro 12x50s a year ago. I loved my Razors and never had a complaint or problem with them, but the Swaros are superior. I'm with the crowd that doesn't like to carry two pairs of binos (10s and 15s) since I also carry the new Vortex 85 spotter. 12s are a very happy medium since you can free hand them for short periods, but also get the extra magnification over the 10s. I have buddies with 15s and every now and then I start to get the jealous bug. But I always fall back to not wanting to carry 2 pairs of binos, and if it to far for my 12s to pick out the details, the 15s wouldn't make a huge difference. Plus I have multiple tripod plates, so I can swith between my 12s and the spotter in a few seconds.

Sounds like another great hunt for you guys. Some really cool heavy bucks in there. Congratulations!

Much like Taylor, my son shot his first whitetail a month after he turned 10 years old with my 300 RUM (with a brake) at 330 yards. He is now 12 and it is the only one of my rifles that he wants to hunt with. He has since used it on 2 additional deer and 2 elk. Four of these five animals dropped immediately without taking another step, the 5th made it about 10 yards.

You are going to get a plethora of responses to that question. I'd just suggest that any caliber is very manageable for a youngster if you will add a brake. So don't limit them down the road by going with a smaller caliber. You can get a good brake installed for $200 or less.

May not be the most liberal attitude, but I don't see this as the worst thing in the world. My children know how to do these things through a combination of our camping, hunting, fishing, boy scouts, etc. or are still learning them. Heaven forbid some disaster should happen. But should it, they will know to and how to get out of the craziness of the city and head to the hills for safety while the lazy, entitled, know-it-all millennials let natural selection take its course.

How much do you need? I have a few bottles and could probably spare one. If a bottle will help you out, shoot me a PM.

I'm aware of the B of A issue from a few years ago. Anyone hear of any recent issues with B of A and the draw? Who used a B of A card last year? Did it go through fine?

The Meateater: Federal Public Lands vs State Ownership
rossislider posted a topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
As any who listen to and follow Steve Rinella's Meateater show and podcast know, he is a big advocate for keeping federal public lands as they are. I have always been highly impressed with Steve and his very intellectual approach to wildlife and outdoorsmans rights. I don't think there are many better advocates or representatives among celebrity outdoorsman in these areas. In his latest episode of the Meateater podcast, he really dives into a lot of these issues. I'd encourage everyone to download and listen to it. The whole two hour episode is very worthwhile. But as relates to recent events dealing with federal public lands and their potential transfer to state ownership, begin listening at around the 1 hour 28 minute mark. http://www.themeateater.com/podcasts/episode-053-greg-blascovich/- 1 reply

Like everyone else has said, I'k keep my expensive optics in my carry on. To much opportunity for those to go missing.

Hmm... This gets more and more interesting.

No but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night. Wife finally kicked you out huh? Bound to happen sooner or later as much as you are gone hunting.

oh there you go pointing fingers again if I told you once I told you a thousand time I am not a "wierdo". Well I wasn't going to call you about by name...

Great essay! One suggestion, I would probably post a version that omits the last page with her name, phone number, and address. There are too many weirdos out there (and maybe a few in here ). Again, congratulations!!!

You can fill out the paperwork and submit electronically now. I did it a couple of years ago and had the codes sent back to me within an hour. Sorry don't have the current codes.

Isn't Goodman the guy who runs ground pounders? They focus on a lot of the same areas, and I believe are good friends, but definitely different crews. Goodman Outfitters is primarily Ty and his boys.
-
The previously mentioned would all be at the top. I'd also consider Ty Goodman's crew.

I can see this one getting locked down pretty quick...
