    Ozone generators

I bought a truck 10 years ago that had a strong smoke odor. I ran a small ozone generator in it each night for a few nights with the windows slightly cracked. Never smelled the smoke again.

    Any cc hits today?

I would probably stop checking my card for charges.

Results out on portal, post up your hunts

Well, I messed up and crossed some dates. Don't know how I managed that. I may be overextended in October.

Results out on portal, post up your hunts

Looks like my crew will be hunting 3A3C deer for a 4th straight year on tag number 100 of 100 tags!!! This time it will be my daughter on her first hunt. She turns ten 13 days before the hunt opens!!! Crazy! As usual Draysen will be hunting as well. He has the hunt he was hoping for, the early October youth hunt. We may or may not have our eye on a certain buck that he wanted first crack at. October is going to be nuts!!! They both also have javelina tags in late November.

    Idaho falls/Yellowstone help

I've been to and fished Palisades many times, but I prefer to fish below the dam in the south fork.

    Idaho falls/Yellowstone help

I'd suggest looking into Henry's Lake just outside of West Yellowstone. If not Henry's, there are multiple great RV parks in the Island Park area.

Yeah but that is Canada. I'm more surprised that they are only 5 days behind. Eh?

Looking for 12 guage Semi Auto

Sounds like I'm beating a dead horse but my Stoeger 3500 has been a fantastic turkey, duck, dove, everything gun. It has cycled everything I have tried shooting through it without issue.

    Credit Card Hit!

I'm one of those people who believes that 95% of all tag charges happen in the first 15 minutes and that if you don't get charged in the first 15 minutes, you are most likely SOL. Well, I had a charge a few minutes ago on a card that was already hit for a different tag first thing this morning. So it definitely wasn't just a slow to show charges credit card. Maybe still some hope...

    Hitting Cards

At this point I would say charges are 95% done. Most charges from this point on will be ones that took a while to post and a handful that had declined cards.

    Credit Card Hit!

$25 is for a youth deer tag. $45 is a general deer tag. $15 is a youth javelina tag. The $13 was charged up front when we applied

Neither First Lite nor any of their products were there. But I did get a free 1 year "Elite Membership" to On X Maps. Everyone that was there for the pre-show got one. General admission might have as well. I am not sure.

It was brought up in a question by a member of the audience during the pre-show "VIP ticket" session. Based upon the answers they gave, it was clear that they were not up to speed on this issue and what has transpired here in AZ about it over the past few months.I thought he said he sees both sides of it and doesn't have an opinion on raffle tags. "They create a huge amount of money that is definitely traceable to the areas of work that they are allocated to but I understand the guys that say they remove some opportunities". I kinda think that was itI don't think he differentiated between the current raffle/auction tags and the proposed ones, because I got the feeling he wasn't aware of the recent proposals. I gathered this largely because he talked about the funds going to habitat and not education.

    Fire restrictions question

Direct from a friend at US Forrest Services in the Springerville office (Apache-Sitgreaves).Propane pits are okay in stage 2 areas. Strongly suggested to clear the surrounding area of brush, needles, etc and have water, shovels, etc. nearby.

So Where's the Official Countdown to CC Hits

If patterns hold, it will happen before 7:30. I think this last elk cycle it started just prior to 7:10.

    WTB a Kodiak Canvas tent

I'm also a 10x14 Flex-Bow owner and love it. About as simple to set up as can be and is pretty much bombproof. Our family of 5 fits it is nicely. We put two of those jumbo XXL cots (for my wife and I) on either side with a queen size air mattress or foam mattresses in the middle that the kids sleep on. Hands down best tent I have owned. I found a smoking good deal on it about this time last year at Cabelas and was able to stack up some discounts and get it for under $400 out the door. I'm also strongly considering picking up the vestibule to go with it.

When I was 21 my friends and I were at the old bowling alley on County Club between Main and University in Mesa at a college students night. Around 10:00 PM we decided to bail and head to the McDonald's a few miles down the street. My buddy and I made a stupid little wager that the last one there had to buy. We were headed north on County Club and were jockeying for lane position. Police lights came on behind us and I pulled over into a Circle K. Within a few seconds the police helicopter was hovering over me and I was ordered from behind to show my hands and asked how many firearms I had in my vehicle. Apparently my buddy and I were assumed to be involved in some gang related chase. Long story short, we both ended up with "exhibition of speed and racing" (drag racing) tickets for going 10 mph over the posted limit (50 in a 40). I think the officers may have been a bit embarrassed about how badly they misjudged the situation so made our tickets more than they needed to be. Anyhow, just wanted to clear the air before anyone does a background check on my dark past from 20 years ago. I have tried to make peace with my transgressions, reconcile with my maker, and hope you all can forgive me. I guess this is what we do on CWT these days. Just a few days till credit card charges!!!
