Is this what you are referring to? If so, I find it very discouraging and disappointing.

6.5 Creedmoor or 7mm mag
rossislider replied to DeathFromBelow's topic in Black Bear or Grizzly Bear hunts
I'd go 7mm mag. The 6.5 should get the job done, but I'd prefer to hit it hard and put it down. Bears tend to not bleed much and tracking a bear would suck. -
Best Case Trimmer for 300 RUM???
rossislider replied to gaps's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
I took the handle off and hooked a drill up to my RCBS Trim Pro 2. I can crank through a lot of brass in no time. This isn't my picture (I got in online) but same idea. -
183 days until Dove season opens
rossislider replied to Big Browns's topic in Small Game, Upland Bird, and Waterfowl Hunting
Doesn't look like the next storms are anticipated till Sunday night or Monday. Opening weekend should be good. -
We do this for every trip. Anytime I smoke pork butts, I do 4-6 butts to make it worth the time investment and vacum seal the final product, about 2 pounds per bag and freeze. Works great as an ice pack in the cooler and you just throw the bag in a pot of boiling water to heat. No pot to clean and pretty dang close to as good as when you freshly cooked it. Just throw on some buns with BBQ sauce. Easily the most popular meal in camp.

I was looking around the updated site and noticed several new things including a "Leaderboard" that ranks things like reputation points? Anyone know what that is all about?
-
I would like this post, but: A. You wouldn't know it was me that liked it. B. That might give you more reputation points. ๐
-
That was me liking your post๐. I agree.

Yeah......... LOL

I have seen significant point creep (multiple points, not just the usual 1 or 2) in a couple of my preferred areas in draw cycles directly after Jay has had focused discussions about those areas on his show. I asked him about it one time and he shrugged it off and said, "There aren't any secrets about any areas anymore anyway." I don't necessarily agree with that. Oh well, he has every right to talk about it on his show, but I don't like it either.

I assume you are not a Jay Scott podcast fan?

I do not have much information on these individuals. But for those of you in the far east valley, I would encourage you to look into and consider Michael "Big Mike" Hernandez for district 16 State Senate (east Mesa, AJ, Queen Creek, San Tan Valley, etc. area) over David Farnsworth. I have met with Mike and have been extremely impressed. He is A STV resident, and for those of us who live in the far south east valley and are tired of feeling like Farnsworth's "red headed stepchild", Mike is your guy.

Mine arrived today.

A few guys on this site might have been willing to pay you more before you washed them.

A great moisture year isn't going to transform 300 inch bulls into 350s. This year there will still be a whole pile of 310-330 bulls like there always is, which is what most guys turning tags back in would shoot even in a great water year. I've seen plenty of great bulls this year that I'd shoot any year. Just go hunt and enjoy it.

Mini-Mag Plus National Security Gun 21 Gun Safe Looking to sale this for my father. He and my mother are at the age where they are downgrading house size and no longer have room/space for this. Here are some specs: 21 gun safe 60"H x 24"W x 24"D This thing is heavy!!! I know, all gun safes are heavy, but this thing weighs more than my 30 gun safe. Probably 600+lbs? Definitely not a cheap warehouse store safe. He payed about $2000 for it when he bought it about 20 years ago. It does have some cosmetics scuffs from use, but it is structurally and mechanically rock solid. Asking $500 No delivery, must pick up in Queen Creek.

Sorry I haven't been able to find any info on the fire rating, but one site suggested it is at least 90 minutes? I'll get some interior pictures momentarily.

Spoke to quick without clearing it with my wife. We have a "family activity". Back up for grabs. Thanks Shelvin

I was up there two weeks ago with my wife and 3 kids and it was terrible!!! Spent about 6 hours at Big Lake during which we caught 2 fish with 1 more bite. 4 hours at Sunrise without a single bite, and 4 hours at Bunch Reservoir without a bite (but the kids caught lots of crawdads). We usually slay them at all three of these lakes. I think it was just way to hot. I believe it hit 90 degrees at one point! My oldest son went up again with friends last weekend and they didn't catch anything.

Those 20 gauge youth 870s are great guns. Ours has put down plenty of dove and couple turkeys.

I've never before put up a trail camera, mostly because I am cheap and figure they would get stolen. But I was thinking about setting out a couple this year in preparation for my daughters first deer hunt. I think she would get a kick out of it and it would get her even more excited. I saw these Stealth cams at Sams Club and figured they are cheap enough that I would get to upset when they do go missing. I know they are pretty lower end, so are they worth the trouble? https://www.samsclub.com/sams/stealth-cam-xs14-14mp-trail-camera%20w-card-reader-2pk%20/prod22303804.ip?xid=plp_product_1_1 2 for $100
