Sounds like a great hunt. Hope things go well today.

Awesome mount! Getting a bobcat is one of my hunting goals this winter. Haven't had much luck with the bobcats thus far.

Congratulation! I never get tired of seeing these amazing animals. -
Kudos for you too Michael (huntitup) for all you did to help out a fellow hunter. Hope I have the opportunity someday to follow your example.

Awesome experience! Sounds like a week in heaven. Congrats!

Can Mitt possibly dig himself any deeper?
rossislider replied to PRDATR's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
I heard that Letterman devoted a good chunk of time to Romney bashing last night as well.......I don't watch that trash but you are right......people listen to that junk and drink the kool aide............ I agree 100% that it sad that people base their voting choice on garbage/comedy vs. facts. No doubt, the average person is very ignorant regarding the actual facts. (Frankly, I place myself in that category sometimes depending on the specific political issue. I'm quite ignorant sometimes.....) That being said, I absolutely LOVE watching the comedy shows. SNL, Colbert, Stewart, etc..... So what if the whole episode was pounding on Romney? It's a COMEDY show!!! Do you think they should be censored??? Pure entertainment for me, and funny as heck IMO! S. It is comedy and yes it can be entertaining. Unfortuantly to many people aren't smart enough to decipher entertainment from the truth. The writters producers, etc. from these "entertainment" shows know exactly what they are doing. -

Can Mitt possibly dig himself any deeper?
rossislider replied to PRDATR's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
Anyone catch that garbage on the SNL Thursday night political update last night? I do enjoy SNL from time to time, but the whole episode was devoted to Romney bashing. Not a thing on Obama. Wish they would just come out and openly admit they are in the Obama tank. It's sad but I think a very large chunk of the voting public bases their opinions and decions off of this garbage rather than actual facts. Big part of the reason the country is in the crapper. -
Awesome! Glad I didn't see you driving down the road cause I probably would have rear ended someone. All of these amazing pictures this week are driving me insane!
-
Awesome bull! I love the width on those thirds. I've done the shot right over the back myself with a much less favorable final result. It still haunts me and probably always will. Glad you were able to maintain composure and get that great second shot off.
-
Beautiful Bulls! You certainly put in the practice before hand to make sure you were prepared for the shot. Glad you had the backup bow handy. I'm a unit 1 hunter myself and love to see pictures of the big bulls in there. Great unit, but it can be tough to get away from the other hunters. To many roads.

Amazing bull, congratulations!

Solution to Water Hole Problems/Confrontations
rossislider replied to m77's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
Man I honestly question if you are a hunter................ Seriously m77??? Carry it in, set it up, take it down, and carry it out in the same day you plan to hunt. You might as well pee in every square inch of the area and bring a boom box to crank music all day cause you aren't going to see much in the way of game. How many new laws are you looking to have added? -
Awesome bull! Congrats Brent. All these pics of big bulls being shot are killing me. I need to get drawn next year.

Cogratulations to your nephew and your whole party! Thanks for sharing. What you mention here is one of my many favorite things about this site, hunters, and hunting in general. Fellow enthusiasts coming together to share knowledge and skill passed down from generations of hunters to keep an awesome sport and way of life alive and pure. Thanks everyone!

If you can spend a little more (about $400) you could get into PSE's new bow package. Looks like a pretty good entry set up for the price. I know Bass Pro has been selling a lot of them. Check it out: http://www.basspro.com/PSE-Archery-Stinger-3G-RTS-Compound-Bow-Packages/product/89093701/

Yea, someone's pet cockatoo got out...

Your friend Mark sounds like my kind of guy! Well done! Yea, he is a good guy--6th degree black belt in Marshall Arts and pretty much doesn't like people messing with other peoples stuff. I have to say that i was happy to see that USO had signs up stating they were hunting this area as firewood was hard to find and those signs burned very, very well! LOL! LOVE IT!

Unit 10 Archery/Rifle Elk Hunt Report Story and Pictures added
rossislider replied to huntjunkie's topic in Elk Hunting
Talked to Stan "huntjunkie" this morning. Things are really picking up for them. They found a monster last night and another this morning while looking for the bull from last night. No shot opportunities yet. I'll leave the rest of the story for him. Good luck Jeff and Stan! -
Congrats to Ryan, the outfitters, and all othes involved! AWESOME bull. Not sure the name "LAB" (Leans A Bit) requires an explanation. I'd "Lean A Lot" if I were lugging that rack around.

Solution to Water Hole Problems/Confrontations
rossislider replied to m77's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
I have to agree with just about eveyone posting in here (sorry m77, I think you may have temporarily lost your mind). The worst thing to do would be to pass more BS laws and give additional power and authority to an organization that already has to many a BS rules and regulations. Hunters can work it out themselves within the rules on the books.
