Tell us about your elk rifle, and cartridge?
rossislider replied to Stray Horse's topic in Elk Hunting
Very nice gun. I was admiring it while I was shooting next to you up at Rio Salado a couple of Saturdays ago. I was the guy with the crutch. -
Just over 40 ft of white wood picket fence and gate. I am not asking any money for the fence. The house we recently moved into has it set up in the backyard as a divider for previous owners dogs. It should break down into sections of about 10 ft each. I recently had leg surgery and am unable to take it down. If you are willing to come take it down, it is all yours. It is located just north of Ocotillo on Ironwood in San Tan Valley/Queen Creek. Thanks (The monkey on the back fence is extra, but available for the right price.)

The fence is gone. Thanks again Adam.

New CouesWhitetail.com Tshirts are in!

Liked and shared on Facebook. I'm ready for my shirt! -
They average the bonus points of the group so it could help someone with few points to put in with someone with many, but hurt the chances of someone with many to put in with someone with few. If you and a buddy put in separately the odds of one of you drawing increase. For example, if neither of you have bonus points but put in together, you have one chance at a good draw number. By putting in separately you now increase your odds for one to draw a low number. However, the chances that you would both draw the same tag together are terrible. If you both want to hunt together you need to put in together. Here is another situation. You and a buddy might consider separate tags to increase your odds of getting into the mountains. If your buddy draws you help him and if you draw he helps you. At least it improves your odds of getting involved in a hunt.

Planned Parenthood finally comes clean
rossislider replied to DesertBull's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
WOW, I don't know what else to say... -
My family recently moved into a new home, and shortly after found a couple of spots in one bedroom where the previous owner's cat appears to have peed many times. After failed attempts to clean the spots I cut out the carpet and pad in the surrounding area, cleaned the wood beneath, and sprayed with several coats of Kilz. This appears to have taken care of the odor, but I now need someone to patch the carpet for me. We have extra carpet but no pad. I can find a couple of pieces of pad if needed. The two areas are each approximately 1ft x 3ft in dimensions. If anyone out there installs carpet and can help me out or give me an estimate please let me know. Thanks Sean 602-524-2973

Want to get into reloading
rossislider replied to coueser4's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
Like some others here have suggested, I recommend getting started with the RCBS rockchucker start up kit. Around the holidays I usually see it on sell for about $250. This is what I started up with and then added on from there. I once priced out all the components in the kit separately and it was about double the price. I am actually going to be loading up some 223 rounds this evening or tomorrow evening so I can go shoot my new AR on Saturday. I live in Queen Creek and would be happy to show you how to get started if you are interested sometime. -

Deal chicken also had a deal a while back for a CCW class. I told my buddy about it but when he went to buy one, the deal was gone. I called the place offering the CCW class. They said they that Deal Chicken had caved to pressure to pull it, but that the CCW class would still be offered for the price to those who mentioned the Deal Chicken promo.

Ted's shooting range. Great place with good people. I'll continue to go to Ted's but not via Groupon.

I have a 350 Rancher and, until I totaled it, a 700 Sportsman. Both are awesome. I love the features, power, and 4wd of the Sportsman. But at the same time there has never been a time I couldn't accomplish the need task with the Rancher, and I had the Rancher for several years before buying the Sportsman. Also, the Rancher was half the price. Can't go wrong either way.
