Avoid the archery guy at Bear Mountain like the plague. I've never encountered a bigger D-bag in a sporting goods store. +1 For Broken Arrow!

There was a lot said recently about how much classier people are on this website as compared to others because people here are better about respecing other's privacy, opinions, etc. Let's keep it that way. Huntjunkie will post the pictures in his own time as he sees fit for him and his daughter.

Thanks!!! It was a combined effort. Lots of help from many CWT members! Months of preperation, hard work and practice. I can't take all the credit. But when the opportunity presented it's self she was ready!! She was like, Dad, I got this! That girl can shoot!! She made two grown men cry that day. I'll never admit that in public. Lol!!!! There were probably a few other grown men who had that bull on their cams and hit lists that cried as well!

Opinions on Phil Roberston suspension from A&E
rossislider replied to longbowpilot's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
I was a little worried about boycotting A&E until I checked and confirmed that The Walking Dead is actually on AMC and not A&E. Boycott on! -
The question about whether these are spotted kittens or not is a fair one. It reminds me of a discussion we had in the hunters education class I went through with my 9 year old son the past couple of weeks. Many of you might recall the "Shoot or Don't Shoot" video they play, and then ask the kids if they should or should not shoot in a given situation. I like what the instructor Andy told the kids. He said "Chosing not to shoot is never the wrong answer." In our lion situation I would suggest that if there is any question about spots whatsoever, not shooting would be the only ethical response.

We're talking about Stan right??? J/K Couldn't agree more.

I'm 100% in favor of getting rid of a few lions, but I also believe in following the rules. I don't like and agree with all of the rules relating to hunting, but I do my best to follow them. Doesn't matter how many lions there are, how big the young lions are, there ability to fend for them selves, etc. The law about not shooting a female with spotted cubs must be followed.

LOL, knew you couldn't keep it a secret for too long Stan, I'm surprised it lasted this long! I have plenty of pictures of him I will post for the right price! J/K, Stan might not ever speak to me again. The story and the pics are worth the wait!

+1 Happy birthday to a great guy and outdoorsman!

It's pretty tough to find a silver scope of the same shade as you barrel, I've tried. I'd suggest going with black.

Any chance this thread stays on topic about the game or will it be another collection of UofA people bashing and talking about how bad ASU sucks at basketball? ASU over Stanford 32-17

Check out the new Honda Pioneer 700 that just came out this summer. It is tough to beat the dependability of a Honda. My wife and are seriously considering buying the 700-4 version. The way the seats convert from a 2 seater with a dump bed to 4 seater with just a few levers is awesome! Only negative is Honda is struggling to keep up with demand and you have to put some cash down and get on a wait list. We put down $100 so we can see one in person. The $100 is refundable if we decide to pass. They have also priced them way under their competition, $11,699 new and you don't have to drop a couple thousand extra for a bigger cage and back seats. http://m.powersports.honda.com/model/street/All%20Products/pioneer-700-4/2014

Good luck, I've always been curious about those. I assume that most will be $5-$10 gift card. Let us know if you get anything good!

I was a bit disappointed with the black Friday ads this year. None of the three stores mentioned here had anything at a good enough price to make me want to deal with the crowds. Did I miss something?

Looks like a great deal. Wish I lived closer.

I know 257 STW has been looking for some. You might shoot him a PM.

Jerk stick and jerky gurus--I need your help
rossislider replied to SWDesertRat's topic in Cooking Wild Foods
Wow, I'm glad my recipe is a hit. Thanks for the compliments. It really is super easy and the rub can be bought at Costco. Just use the link Pine Donkey posted. -
Good luck, but I was a little concerned about the OTR acronym. I've always heard that to mean "on the rag"?

The majority of people in this world are idiots. Need proof? Just look at the majority decision in most any election these days.

Of course no one knows the story! I personally have yet to see one Mossback story posted.

7mm-08 Tikka T3 Lite with muzzle brake. Still going back and forth on the load. Either 140 grain Barnes TTSX or 140 Grain Berger VLD. Good for deer or elk at reasonable distances (well within my son's range).

Awesome! I wouldn't be that lucky.
