I have a few bottles of unopened IMR4350 I bought a few months ago and have since decided to go with a different powder. I paid about $30. Let me know if you want them and how many. I live in Queen Creek and work in Tempe.

CWT Community- A couple of weeks ago I posted about the annual event my wife and I put on each September in memory of our son Easton. I'll post a link to that page below if you are interested in more information about the general event. 100% of the proceeds will go to buying toys for and helping with the needs of the children at Phoenix Children's Hospital. http://www.coueswhitetail.com/forums/topic/51415-fitness-event-for-a-cause/ Yesterday we began the online auction portion of the event that will go until 09/20/14 at 6:00 PM PST. There are lots of great items up for bid including a bow package, ASU/UCLA football tickets, a Calais Campbell signed football, and much more. Please feel free to check out the items and place a bid. You can also PM me with any questions that aren't covered on the auction page. Feel free to like, follow, and share this with friends and family. It is for a fantastic cause! I have the same spotting scope, so I'm going to configure one for my camera phone using a second case that was given to me. While at Home Depot I noticed that there are a few different sizes of male couplings that could be screwed into the same female coupling. Might be able to make it work for my binos as well! Thanks for the idea!

Online Auction benefiting the kids at PCH
rossislider replied to rossislider's topic in The Campfire
We would love toy donations. Because of the compromised immune systems of many of these children, the hospital requires that any toys be in their new unopened packaging. If you live in the valley I would be happy to meet you somewhere, or if you would like to ship something I can PM you my address. We also have people sending money for the purchase of toys to a PayPal account set up for it. Lastly, any items that could be used in raffles or auctions would also be very welcomed. We have the tax ID information and approval letter from the Phoenix Children's Hospital Foundation for any straight donations. It cannot be used for item someone purchases at auction or through the raffles. Thanks!- 4 replies

I received a question about the bow package in the auction, that I thought best to answer it here. It is a camo RH Diamond Infinite Edge NIB Bow package. This also includes a NIB Scott Wolverine release and a set up from Bass Pro. Thanks- 4 replies

No tags for me this year, but still enjoying getting out and enjoying the wildlife. Got up about 4:30 Saturday morning to see if a friend and I could spot a few bulls at first light. We were treated to find several herds over a couple of hours, with two different bachelor groups of all big bulls. One group of about 18 and about a dozen in the second group. Not a spike or rag horn in either group and a few that would go over 350. Super jealous of all of you with tags! Good luck!
-
Yep, that is the bull I was referring to. I have a picture somewhere of him from a couple of years ago. He was pretty big back then.

Very nice work! -
Very cool. I have pictures of an albino bull in captivity but I've never seen one in the wild.

Sounds awesome! Good luck and thanks for your help with my rifle.

Called Game and Fish yesterday. They said I should have had them a week ago. They have had a bunch come back but mine weren't with them. The lady was nice about it, confirmed my address and said she would mail out a duplicate in the next couple of days. -
Thanks Adam!

Hi CWT Community- One month from tomorrow we will be holding our annual Easton's Legacy Toy Drive. Each September my wife Kursty and I lead a memorial toy drive campaign to benefit the children of PCH. Our effort began a little over 6 years ago when we lost our little boy Easton to his battle with primitive neuroectodermal tumors (pnet, pronounced peanut). Our yearly memorial toy drive, occurring in conjunction with his birthday and in his name, is our way to celebrate his life and remember him. Easton’s Legacy Toy Drive initially began small with close friends and family participating. However, over the past few years it has grown to include many other groups and organizations in our community. For the past two years we have joined up with Derrick and Rochelle Spitzer, the owners of CrossFit Incite to host a memorial fitness event in conjunction with the toy drive. We invite the community and neighboring CrossFit gyms across the Phoenix valley to join us for our workout event and competition. For admission into the event we ask for the donation of a new unopened toy, which will be given to a cancer patient at PCH. This fitness workout is for everyone and does not require any CrossFit experience or level of fitness. Many trained coaches will be on hand to help anyone in need of assistance. For anyone who has ever wondered what CrossFit is like, this would be a great opportunity to give it a try with many individuals who are new to the experience. This is a community charity event, not a recruiting event! This years event will be bigger and better than ever. We are for the first time an officially sponsored event by the Phoenix Children's Hospital Foundation. With this status we have been able to solicit donations for raffle and door prizes as well as online auctions. We have, and are still receiving, several thousand dollars worth of items we will be auctioning and raffling off at, and in the days leading up to, the event on September 20th. Just to give an idea, one of the online auction items will be an archery packaging including, but may not be limited to, a Diamond Infinite Edge bow package and a Scott Wolverine release. 100% of the proceeds will go to purchasing toys or providing relief to the children's families in the way of pharmacy gift cards, gas cards, etc. I won't go into all of the details here but invite you all to visit our event page for additional details. http://eastonslegacy.blogspot.com/ You can also follow our event on Facebook by doing a search for 7th Annual Easton's Legacy Toy Drive. We had a few CWT members join us last year and would love to see even more this year! You are also welcome to share this information with anyone interested. Lastly, we would love participation in any shape or form. Join us at the event, donate to the cause in the form of toys, items for auctioning and raffles, financial contributions, etc. We are open to just about anything. Please feel free to PM me with any questions or send us an email at the address listed on our page. Thank you!

Thank you Pine Donkey! There will be auctions and raffles that you do not need to be present to win. Keep an eye on our pages for details. Also, the Waffle Crush truck will be at the event selling waffles and donating a portion of all sales. If exercise isn't someone's thing, just come by and buy a waffle. They are awesome! Anyone interested can send financial donations via a PayPal account set up for the event. Just log into your PayPal account and select the send money to friends and family option. The account name to send it to is: eastonslegacy@gmail.com We would also love it if you left a note or comments with your donation so we know where the money came from and to track the purpose of your donation (raffle, auction, straight donation, etc.) THANKS!

CRAP! -
Hi bowhnt- Thanks for your input. I am glad your daughter is okay and I hope you don't take any offense by my comments because they certainly aren't meant that way. But the CrossFit/Rhabdo argument is kind of a joke in CrossFit (hence the posters), because it is the most overused argument by haters and people who don't understand Rhabdo and or CrossFit.. Anyone can get Rhabdo in almost any sport. This is a bit over simplistic, but essentially it comes from not listening to your body (arms) when they tell you to stop and usually results from lots of pull-ups. CrossFitters certainly don't hold the trade mark on pull-ups. It would be like warning everyone against tennis because players sometimes get tennis elbow. Everyone would all be a lot safer if they stayed in their homes and never separated their backsides from their couches, but that isn't an option or desire for most. Any activity is going to pose risk, we just need to ask ourselves if the risk is worth the reward. I've been CrossFiting for about 14 months and don't believe I've ever come across another structured activity that is better at getting people in top shape, is as tough, and yet as addictive as CrossFit. Here is a good article that gives a better explanation of Rhabdo for any interested. http://journal.crossfit.com/2010/01/rhabdo-pdf.tpl Thanks!

I, and a couple of other members, workout at CrossFit Incite in Queen Creek. Awesome box, amazing community! I'd suggest that most bashers have probably never tried it, heard some BS from a friend, or can't hack it. It is definitely not for the weak willed.

Things your huntin buddies do that drive you nuts : )
rossislider replied to twigsnapper's topic in The Campfire
I know exactly who you are talking to, and you are full of crap!!! For the record, the only year I put in for points was the year I almost lost my leg, had to have it surgically repaired, and was in rehab for months! FYI, huntjunkie has some sort of illegitimate in with AZGFD, cause he draws every tag he puts in for every year. He is also BFFs with Shawn Wagner! -
How Fat is Fat? The All American State of Denial and BMI
rossislider replied to Healy Arms's topic in Hunting Fitness
Just my opinion, but I think this chart is ridiculous. I'm 6"4 and this suggests I should be at 200 lbs to be on the high end of optimal??? If I weighed 200 lbs I'd look pretty sickly. But as your last post suggests, I am big framed and lift weights daily. -

I thought the previous comment was pretty funny so I sent my wife an email with a subject line that read, "I'd kill to mount this blonde". Attached was a picture of a big blonde bear. She didn't find it as humorous as I did. -

Maybe not the cheapest option, but you should come try CrossFit with Stan and I sometime. Our box will let you try it for the first week for free to see if you like it.
