standman, maybe you'll get lucky and a bigger buck from another unit will get pushed to your unit during the archery or the beginning of the rifle hunt. I'd hold out for a bigger buck for atleast the first few days of the hunt and see what gets pushed around. Just my .02

Well ain't that just great I think Montgomery&Gentry were scheduled to appear at a couple of the bigger hunting conventions next year. Hopefully it's not as bad as it sounds.

I agree Noel. Take a look over on MonsterMuleys.com. They have a thread on finders fees where guys are getting up to $10,000 for finding a big buck or bull and putting the guide and hunter on the animal. What a joke.

Depends on the situation. If I have time I'll get a solid rest over my pack. I also use the Mossback shooting tripod. It's light, very adjustable and steady. It comes in handy if there aren't any trees or other natural rests available.

I have a good friend who lives out of state who can't afford to give azgfd $100+ (can't remember exact figure) for nothing in return every year until he draws a bull elk tag in this state! I know this does'nt really bother most of you but you have to admit, from their point of view that's highway robbery! Just my 0.2c. Amen shortpants. I play the lottery game in 7-10 states every year and I have, because I'm forced to buy them to put in for the drawn, hunting licenses for AZ., CA., NEV., OR., and ID. That's over $450.00 just to apply for the draw. I'm seriously rethinking this.
