No truer words were ever written. Nobody offers a $5.00 bill for $4.00 unless there is something wrong. Before you buy from anyone you should find out if they are an authorized dealer. If they are not, as that seller wasn't, then that should let you know that you are rolling the dice on what you are getting. Possibly new, refurb, Grey Market or straight up used item. Keep in mind, even if you do luck out and get a new USA warranty from a non-authorized dealer, when you register the warranty with the receipt from that non-authorized dealer the mfg. may not honor the warranty. A great deal is buying from a legit authorized dealer, that will be there to offer guidance, service, a fair price and if & when needed warranty assistance. Well said Doug!

WOW, WOW That buck is AWESOME. Need more details, Unit, score, has it been entered in B&C etc............. Thanks for posting and I hope you are going to rescue that BRUTE from the garage so that he is given the respect he deserves. -
Way to go Jason! That's a good lookin bull and it sounds like you had a great hunt. Congrats

I have had good success with Cabelas Meindl boots. I had a pair of their Meindl Canada boots that I returned after nearly 2 years, seam was coming apart after only 2 hunts the previous year, and they sent me a new pair. This year I dropped some serious money on some new boots, actually a boot system, and have been very impressed. The boots are made by Hanwag and the boot system comes from Lathrop and Sons. Without a doubt the best boots I have ever worn.

Dang, guess I need to call and renew my membership in the morning.

Squared= the bears measurements, wingspand or from the tips of the claws on one paw across to the tips of the other paw squared by the measurement of the nose to the tip of the tail. Hope that explains it.

Nice picks. Is that the same muley in the second pic? Sure looks bigger skylined -
He scores enough to shoot! I'd guess 190's

Can't go wrong with either. But.... I would go with the Swaro 10x42EL if you are looking for glass to carry around your neck. They are going to be lighter and 10 power is alot easier to hold still while glassing without the aid of a tripod. Also the customer service at Swarovski is awesome.

Great lookin critters, congrats

The way I understand it, 6" pad equals 6' squared. What ever it is that is a big bear.
-
He, the buck, had one small testicle. So I guess the answer yes.
-
Very cool Jim Are you doing a shoulder mount on that brute?

Monster bull for sure. I'm guessing high fenced, steriod injected conceived from a straw of semen. -
Great pics and story Jim. Thanks for sharing. Congrats to the hunter. Love the way that bull flares out on his thirds. Hope your Bro sticks that bull he's holding out for.
