Me and my son are going to shoot in the max hamilton shoot this coming weekend. Was wondering how many targets a day do they shoot(competitively) and how far are the longest shots. Will I need a 50 or 60 yard pin? Thanks for any help.

He is 12. He is a good shot, but judging range on every shot will be new to him. Is there a draw weight limit for his age group?

Very Funny....This was a brand new tent and the zipper stopped working after like 2 uses...manufacturer sent me new parts for the zipper which fixed it for awhile, but now it's not working again. I hate zippers! We can put a man on the moon, but we cant figure out how to make a good zipper! Go figure.. -
Thanks for the info!

Now to find out if your bow is tuned go to broadhead tuning. Shoot a group with fieldpoints, then shoot a group with broadheads. Move your rest from the broadhead group to the field point group. So if your broadheads impact low and to the right, move you restup and to the left until they both group together.

Inverter Broadhead test #2 Cinder Block
coues krazy replied to wardsoutfitters's topic in Bows, arrows, broadheads
Might be a tough broadhead, but I will always shoot magnus stingers. I can shoot a stinger into a 1" cinder block,(why not a 8x8x16) and if it breaks or gets bent, I can get a new one for free no questions asked. Plus they are far more affordable than any expandable I have seen. Not saying they are a bad head, just prefer a cut on contact with a lifetime warranty! -

Amazing info on immigration law
coues krazy replied to TwoGuns's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
The good president is also using the Az law as a distraction so he can get financial reform passed. Its no coincidence that topic heated up at the same time our law was passed. Obama is a slick one. No one is paying attention to financial reform. -
They will never get the pike out of there. They should let the pike have it, and stop stocking trout. It just doesnt have the feel of a trout lake anymore. Way to muddy. Maybe stock it with catfish. Looks like a catfish lake.

AMERICAN PRIDE RALLY
coues krazy replied to wackycouesaddict's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
I thought this rally was june 5th, or is this a different one? -
I stand corrected. They were kocanee salmon and not dolly varden. Is it the crawdads that make that lake muddy nowadays? Seems I heard that somewhere.

AMERICAN PRIDE RALLY

He makes a valid point. Most people dont want to get involved, or they expect someone else to do the dirty work. I assure you this attitude will be the downfall of the U.S. as we know it. Everyone needs to be involved in some way if care anything about your country. Whats happening nowdays would cause the founding fathers to roll over in their graves. The United states is being dismanteled brick by brick. People had better wake up fast. I commend you whackycoues for trying to get involved, and I would be happy to attend an organized march to show pride for our country. Hey youngguns, I dont think he was talking smack, he is just trying to motivate people and I for one appluade his efforts. -
I can remember when there were dolly vardens in Ashurst at one time. I also caught a 16" brookie way back when. I also remember when the game and fish poisoned the lake because shiners had gotten in. My grandfather told the warden that those shiners were the best trout food they could get. The warden told him that trout wont eat shiners! We had a good laugh at that and watched as the killed hundreds of 19 to 24" rainbows. The lake has never been the same since.

GM New Commercials
coues krazy replied to az4life's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
I would never buy a gm product again. Ford only for me. -
When will people realize that this has nothing to do with race and everything to do with equal justice. Thats part of the problem. The good folks in Washington are not about equal justice, only social justice.
