You can make a noise or hit'm in the head with something and they'll run back down the tree.... in alberta the bear I ended up shooting started coming up my ladder and I just tapped on the tree stand to make a little noise. One good lesson though.... never ever let a cub or cubs get up a tree above you because then you are between momma and her cubs and that is not good.. They can sneak right up that tree and get above you easily and quickly

I keep sayin I'm done for the season but then I keep needing to go out every weekend... might be addicted. Anyway I found these 5 sheds this morning. The one mulie shed is from a pretty nice buck, very nice buck. Two other mulie sheds might be from the same buck or at least related. Enjoy the pics! By the way I Never find 5 sheds in a morning.... usually none or one.. two if I'm lucky so this was a blessing.
