7W is full of good bulls... just gotta get out and glass from some high points until you find one. there is no magic spot other than just getting out and finding them before your hunt. Have you killed a bull before? good luck.

Sow and Cubs Called into 12 yards last year. self filmed
Critter replied to Buckhunter's topic in Black Bear or Grizzly Bear hunts
Awesome! them cubs are cute. one of them looks to have a little choco in him -
Excellent Pics & story... and not sure if you noticed but in the pic with the cub walking across the road you captured either an elk antler rub or mulie/coues rub on a little pine tree in the background. Destroyed that little pine tree. Sweet pic

Amanda is right unless you are sure its a snake. Recently I was digging a hole to plant a tree and pretty sure I stirred up an Ant hill or something. My dog had laid on a blanket a few feet from where I was dumping dirt as I dug the hole for a few hours. Later on she swelled up like you wouldn't believe.... face all puffed up and was irritable and would not sleep for 4 days. in the middle of night she'd run around the house acting weird. We were so worried we took her to the vet. Benadryl helped... we would put Benadryl pills in marshmallows and give them to her. It was real scary but she pulled through it. We didn't sleep for a few days as she acted nuts. I think either one insect or bug or a colony of ants got onto her. We live in an HOA so we do not get rattle snakes in our yard. large block wall, etc... Hope your dog pulls through it fine. good luck.

This is a really cool way to donate now being spread on the official FB page "In Memory of Prescott firefighters lost 6/30/13" This site is selling T-shirts with the hotshots logo, pick your size $20.... cant go wrong. You get a tshirt and the funds go to wildland firefighter foundation and ultimately to the families. I just bought one. http://teespring.com/granitemountainhotshots

Incredible hunt and story. Nice job. Also.. I always learn something from you in this case how a bear may use it's exact entry route when on the way back out and threatened. Sweet color to that bear and to call it in like that wow. Nate.

I'm not sure I understand why they would be there.... what exactly are they protesting in this instance?

Where did you hear this? I live here and this town is full of rednecks that are going to have a serious problem with this. They'll get shut down hard if they try this....

Almost looks like the standing bear has a white crest on his chest as some do... haven't seen it in Az though. could just be a glare though.

*** SOLD **** Summit Climber Tree Stand for Sale
Critter replied to Critter's topic in Classified Ads
*** SOLD **** -
I'm selling the Summit Viper SS Climber. I've only used this stand 1 time...that's it. But I did have it hung in a tree for about 3 weeks prior to a mulie hunt. The time I used it it worked perfect, was easy to climb/use and was very comfortable. I'm in N.Az and have moved more toward spot & stalk hunting and no longer have a need for the stand. It's an excellent stand but its just hanging in my garage taking up space at this point + I'm not really in white tail country to have as much of a need for it. Below is a link from sportsmans guide for more details. It goes for around $280 new (And you have to assemble it) Mine is assembled and ready to use in addition I'll throw in an "EZ HANGER" for hanging bow/cam/gear next to you while in stand And I'll throw in a bunch of screw in tree stakes in case you choose to leave the stand hang which is around $25 value. I'm asking $170 Obo for this stand and would like to sell in person to avoid shipping. Live in Prescott Valley. Pm if interested. - Nate http://shop.sportsmansguide.com/net/cb/cb.aspx?a=450113&pm2d=CSE-SPG-15-PLA&utm_source=google&utm_medium=pla&gclid=COPkkeLqpbcCFceDQgodVXYAQQ

Since I'm a fan of the rustic touch myself.... I gotta say that is one of if not the coolest base I've seen. And the taxi work is awesome. Looks very nice and your wall is good look'n too. Very nice touch.

Predator Called Spring Bear - The Anomaly
Critter replied to kidso's topic in Black Bear or Grizzly Bear hunts
Yup... what a bonehead comment. I remember an archery bear kidso killed.... it was a nice bear and a one of a kind color phase. I'd take that bear any day. -
Found this match in 6a on Saturday. Found the first and from there started just following country that seemed a coues deer would travel and did some circles in thicker kind of country and in 20 min or so and about quarter mile from the first side... I found the match. Needle in a haystack really... surprised to find the other side. Ok buck, year old sheds probably. Not chewed on at all, one brown side and one white side. This was my first coues find - Nate
