Hey guys, I'm just curious as to what you guys use to sit on while calling. I usually sit on the ground or lean on a tree if possible, but after a day of calling my back is always sore. I've looked up a few different options but am interested to see what you guys think is most comfortable and practical to carry in and out of every stand. Thanks in advance for your input.

Thanks WampusCat. I bought some Hornady Vmax 17gn tonight and am going to try them next week. Got the scope bore sighted tonight and will zero it in this weekend and see if I can't knock down some fur next week. This gun is intended to my close range calling gun, even for coyotes. I'll let you guys know how it goes!

Called in two coyotes today with Lightning Jack. One came from behind, and I didn't even know it was there until I heard it's footsteps 10 yards to my left. The second one came in around 11:00 to the same call around minute 8:00. I call for two minutes and leave at least 1.5 minutes of silence and sometimes more. Love shooting dogs.

I just bought a Ruger 17hmr yesterday for all the same reasons you described. Can I expect similar results?

I haven't even met Mike in person, but he helped me land a gun or two. Definitely a cool guy I trust. Mike, just had the same thing happen with a pig yesterday... Really bummed I couldn't recover it. Rushed the shot and hit it too far back. They're a lot tougher than you think!

Hey everyone, This scope has never been used outside. The only time I used it was to look at a street sign from the arm of my couch. I bought this and a rifle but have to chose between the two. This is $899 new online or local retail, and this one is the same thing you would get just cheaper plus no tax or shipping fees.
