Hey "coues addict" can I go with you on your next hunt wherever it might be ? I told you that you would get a bull elk because your on a roll: elk tag, coues tag, you the man! Rub some good luck on me would ya! Congrats from COUES-N-IT.
Looking into a handgun for hunting purposes in the .44 mag. or stronger caliber. my biggest problem is small hands. I've tried large frame Smith&Wesson revolvers and I can't get a good grip & very unstable to shoot . Any suggestions from gun types to barrel length to calibers to scopes would be deeply appreciated. I've looked at a Ruger super blackhawk "bisley" does anybody have one? and do you like it? thanks for any help.
I bought me a Kifaru zulu backpack. Zeiss 8x30 conquest binos. and a new pair of Lowa "tibet" boots their claimed by some to be some of the finest and comfortable boots that last for a long time if you take care of them.
Here is some advice . If your scope is 1" I would go down to your hardware store and buy me a 1" wooden dowell there great for alligning your scope bases front and rear so your sure everything is nice and straight and tighten down not snug .your rifle will take some abuse and you dont want to have a loose scope. also make sure the dowell is straight and re-check your scope to see if things have loosened off hope this helps and good luck
